    So I played a bit with it and that's the result;
    I tried to put dark letters to it but they were not readible.
    You were right about the darker colours, here the forum background is dark so light colours stand out well, but with lighter surroundings this darker version should look better.

    here is my button. I have not yet added the text as I need to clarify a few things.

    #1 - Do we "have" to use names? Xen of Onslaught is long enough without having to add a name.

    Other than that here is what I got using Aise's image as a staple. I wanted to make the colors sharper and deeper so I went that way. I also liked how he blended the XoO logo so I went a step further and blended it even more while maintaining the image outline.

    Looking good! I only am afraid the print will 'flatten' the contrast and might make it hmmm bland.
    That's why I rotated the texture on the logo to make it stand out more from the background.
    Oh and I am not sure if its sposed to be like that with the diagonal line running from the top left to middle-bottom-right (I find it a bit disturbing)
    The background though looks def. better though with all the scratches emphasized.
    Oh, and I'm a girl <;

    rotated the overlay on the image to offset the background and worked on the white line as you put it. I am not sure what "quality" of image can be used but, I guess we will find out.

    almost all have a name on it maybe put it in the outer dotted area?
    so the name will be seen when you look at the back.

    or make it really small text?

    the more you clutter it the worse it will look.
