Planetside 2 ApplicationHow old are you? 30 In-Game Name? PapaSoma Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic? Yes Why did you choose XoO: Word of mouth is that you folks are a strong outfit for a future PS2 Vanu player. I'm looking for an established group with good core practices. Previous Gaming Experience: First serious online gaming experience was with the original Quake, and more specifically Team Fortress. Moved into the various iterations of Tribes, and played the original Planetside for a brief time too. Later got into Eve and various other games. Find most games these days to be shallow and unsatisfying. Playing alot of Indie titles, especially KAG. What will you contribute to the guild? I can't offer much aside from being a solid and experienced gamer. I've functioned as a trainer with a few Tribes back in the day. Happy to help out with newer players once I have my own experiences built up in PS2 Localization: NA Do you have a referral? - A little bit about yourself? Easy going player. Designer/Builder/Farmer/Prepper. Living a strange life. I enjoy wilderness survival and wildcrafting. At the same time have a strong digital life. Activity level? Right now I'm not playing at all, since the game isn't released yet. When released I don't see a problem meeting the minimum. Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer? Yes Have you applied to the Planetside 2 usergroup? Yes
Hi there PapaSoma !, nice to meet you. Dullard is currently in charge of processing our divisions applications and should reply to you shortly. Quite the same as myself then. I don't have much time to get out there these days, plus the weather sucks in England but its a great interest. Nice application, hope to speak to you soon
Welcome and thank you for applying. Have either of you ever made/used a sling (not a sling-shot)? I got bit by the bug last year and do it pretty regularly. It's a fun thing to do outdoors that actually has a practical use and takes a fair amount of skill. It might be too hard of a tool to use for hunting (I wouldn't want to depend on it) but they are super cheap and easy to make, and the feeling you get when you make a rock go over 200 yards is pretty exciting. Anyway, your application was acceptable and the final step to becoming a full member is a voice interview where one of us will ask you a few more in-depth questions and then we answer any that you may have. I've pm'd you the information for our Teamspeak server. My availability varies, but it's usually between 5pm to 3am CST. Hope to see you soon!
