2. Explaine your talent selection (theorycrafting source, specialization choices etc): 20-51-0 just what i roll with i dont go off what people say is good i use what works, till something changes this is my spec.

4. Current professions and their raid benefit: JC, LW both max just picked up JC recently for the self gem bonus and LW i picked up because noone else had it at the time have some uld, think all toc and 4 icc patterns atm

5. How long you've been playing WoW and what PvE progression you've accomplished: started Pre-bc like 05" i think pre bc up to twins some naxx, BC through BT into sunwell with TMO which became invalid when we merged with MM and atm up to LK to many baddies tired of carrying peoples.

6. Describe how you theorycraft your class (websites, spreadsheets, etc): Dont use spreadsheets or have any stats to show you but ive played a rogue for some time i know it i love it.

7. Occupation and living arrangements that impact raiding (family, schedule, etc): Currently in the USAF have 2-3 months till i get out no Wife or kids to bug me. raid times i can make Np

8. Guild History - where are you leaving and why: Been in current guild since last year when i got back from korea, "Sinister Urge" leaving because we hit a wall awhile back and ive tried to stick it out but people leave and we recruit more and have to start all over headaches arent getting better.

9. How did you hear about us? List any friends/references within the guild: I came from sargeras know most of the people still was in "Echo" pre bc with Olo, waxx Scyph maybe some more of you idk.

10. List your raid consumables and your method for maximizing them: i bring my own flasks food feasts i can drop haste pots health pots w/e poisons i always have extra for peeps that need.

11. List scheduling conflicts (include times for possible weekend 10mans):None

Final comments you feel could help your application: I dont like missing raids in fact ive only missed one in the last 6-7 months i know some of you from old guilds and honestly id like to come back to sargeras, just let me know what you guys/gals need also have a geared alt hunter for any alt runs if you run those MM/surv hunter 5600+ gs

Alright Mister Dooker:

1. Engineering outperforms LW as a raid profession for rogues, would you be willing to switch.
2. XoO is know for its top end DPS, I would like you to start using spreadsheets to improve your DPS. I can already see a few gear switches that could benefit you. Would you be willing to do this as well?
3. Would you be willing to drop Glyph of Evis for Glyph of TotT?
4. You say you roll with what spec works best. I must point out an obvious error in your spec. Care to guess what it is?

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we currently have 3 rogues who are raiding right now, and we already make Trhal and Tenduce /roll for raid spots. I'm not sure if anything has changed since I've been pre-occupied the last week or so though.

 

Spots are continuously earned, not given, and qualified apps will always be looked at.

 

That isnt my raiding spec as i listed above i raid combat swords not fist i was just goofing off in some random, and thanks Olo it was late and i forgot the armory link, as for the pics im at work atm so cant view them ill check it soon as i get home. as for raiding spots let me know how that will work cause droppin $25 to sit bench cause nobody knows me would suck lol and i dont want to make enemies by taking peoples spots lol. As far as my gear what exactly were you seeing/thinking.

 

I am not a rogue expert but wouldn't you benefit from putting the +10 stats gem in your cloak? Some socket bonus is better than no socket bonus.

I am sure Lime will give you better advice. I'm just making an observation.

 

I agree with that statement, the Tear should be in a piece that gives you a socket bonus, more specifically, the highest socket bonus.

As for gear changes, You have too much expertise, dropping the SoMM for another 264 Ring (or even a 258 ArmPen Ring) would probably yield better dps. Shrapnel Star is iffy as well. I know for my gear set, my ilvl 245 ArmPen bow gives me better stats than Shrapnel Star.

Of course, with Combat, losing stats can change the weight of certain items, which is why using a spreadsheet can be beneficial. It also helps with proper gear choices. You may think an item is great for you, but why take a piece of gear that a Mutilate rogue will benefit more from if you can pick up a different piece later? The use of s spreadsheet is not solely for your benefit, so please be open to try new things for the guild.

While you somewhat touched on my questions, I never got any straight forward answers. So let's try this again.

1. Can you log out in your appropriate raiding spec and gear so I can get a realistic look at you.

P.S. We don't take server transfers lightly. If the officers decide to bring you in, it will not be with the intention to have you sit.

and as far as engineering goes i was eng prior to LW took LW to make some gold as for getting it again it wouldnt be hard i have some extra stuff on my hunter from her 450 eng. and as far as gems go yes it is good to get a bonus imo we should both take that +10 stats out our pants

 

TBH, why are we even entertaining this guy? This answer is pretty much the same as saying, "I'm dumb and have no idea how my class works. The fact that I have the right gear and (mostly) correct gems is probably due to luck and/or someone smarter than me telling me what to do."

 

If you want to know about me i raided with Olo,waxx and scyph pre bc and knew them through BC im sure they can answer any questions you may have.

 

yo got this spreadsheet up and well it says what i already knew i need my helm upgraded and as far as my ring goes id lose dps by going to a toc heroic only possible upgrades which i already knew are 10m heroic ring and the ring from dreamwalker and you say i got lucky with gems where? im all arp cept my +10 stats which is in my legs yes i could toss it in a diff slots and get 4-8 agi thats an easy fix but you also have this gem in the same spot
