I got a voucher for 25% off for myself, and now that I've used it, I can get another copy (either edition) for 25% off. Offer expires Feb 5th, if anybody wants to figure out a way for me to get it for them cheap. :>

EDIT: Also, keep an eye out on g2play.net . They often have great deals as well. (the site may look awfully sketchy to some, but I've used it countless times without issue thus far)

EDIT 2: If the g2play link brings you to a website saying the domain has expired, blame your DNS. It might also be blocking NA access or something.

    Preorder perks:

    What is the Explorer’s Pack?
[ If players pre-purchase the game through The Elder Scrolls Online Store (https://store.elderscrollsonline.com) or pre-order at any participating retailer, they'll receive the Explorer's Pack, a digital bundle that includes: ] — The ability for the player's characters to join any alliance, no matter which race you choose — The Scuttler , a tiny but loyal vanity pet — Four bonus treasure maps that will lead the player to loot ** When players pre-purchase through The Elder Scrolls Online Store, the Explorer's Pack will automatically be added to their account. If they pre-order the game through a participating retailer, closer to launch they'll be provided with a code they can redeem after registering an account at https://account.elderscrollsonline.com. Good find. Was just coming back to post that from reddit.

    On an odd note:
Idk why the GMG site says the regular edition has only 3 days of early access. They are likely incorrect and get the same 5 days the Bethesda store regular edition gets. Still, be aware of the "3 day early access" quote on the GMG site on the off-chance that the 5 day bonus on regular edition is a Bethesda exclusive.

The digital standard gets 5 days, the physical, boxed standard gets 3 days of early access.

The ability for the player's characters to join any alliance, no matter which race you choose <---- do you get that with the DIGITAL IMPERIAL EDITION also or is it only part of the explorer's pack? If so, does that mean if I pick say the dark elf I can join a guild and other groups within the Aldmeri Dominion faction?

Also - in the last games discussion meeting I attended there was talk that XoO would not be having a ESO division, due to lack of interest. Has that changed (Meaning I need to start guild hunting around launch time) or are we fielding a division now? PS - the eso roster shows like 19 people, is that not enough interest?

According to GMG and thus Gamebreaker, the GMG version of the digital standard only gets 3 days. I think it is a typo, but they are clearly talking about the digital version as GMG is only selling the digital versions.

It is either that... or the ESO Store is the only place you can get a digital standard and still have 5 days.

went to get my copy using the GMG code last minute today. Oddly enough I couldn't use the US code, but I could the EU code. I'm not the only one either. Searching for any info on region locking, you guys know if there is any?

Well it says on the ESO website that you can choose which of the two mega servers you want to play on when you join the game so it shouldnt matter where you buy the game from

According to random Reddit posters any code will work for any region. I suppose the only way to be sure would be to ask Zenimax support.

Advice taken. I confirmed it with support. Any account with game access can pick between the NA and EU server.
It was confusing me that they had codes based on region when the region doesn't matter.

Oh and this was in my email:

Want to buy another copy for a friend? Well below is a one-time use, account-bound 25% off voucher code. This voucher code will work on The Elder Scrolls Online and The Elder Scrolls Online: Imperial Edition ONLY. This voucher will expire 6 days from now.

If anyone missed the sale and wants that specific edition, send me a PM. I guess I'd have to do what Noollab did and paypal or something.
