Character Name, Class, and Main Spec: I want to start by saying I have 4 capable 80's on which I would be comfortable raiding on. My rogue (on whom I am applying) is the character I have seen the most content on. Oneeyedfred, Troll Rogue, Assassination Papachester, Orc Death Knight, Unholy dps Papabare, Orc Warlock, Switches between Demonology and Affliction Adonde, Tauren Shaman, Restoration Armory Link: (and talent choices explained): Oneeyedfred-http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sargeras&cn=Oneeyedfred I chose assassination, because I enjoy playing it and when I had respeced to it I happened to have better weapons for it. I haven't yet acquired Combat weapons. Papachester-http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sargeras&cn=Papachester I chose unholy because at one point I had the 4 piece t9 set. I found that with the gear I was acquiring even when I broke the 4 piece my dps was better as unholy vs. blood Papabare-http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sargeras&cn=Papabare Between the 2 specs, I tend to play demonology if there is a lot more changing of targets and tend to play affliction if it is more of a tank and spank fight. I enjoy both specs and chose demonology over destruction because I feel the dps is comparable and demonology is more fun to play. Adonde-http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sargeras&cn=Adonde My restoration spec is pretty cookie cutter for resto shamans. The only difference is I didn't take Healing way. I find as a resto shaman I am not assigned to tank healing in raids often if ever and took the shields bonus. List raid helpful professions: Oneeyedfred- Skinning/Leatherworking Papachester- Mining/Jewelcrafting Papabare- Enchanting/Tailoring Adonde- Herbalism/Alchemy Time playing WoW and PvE progression: Well, I started playing WoW in the fall of 2006 on Draenor. I first leveled my rogue and was able to see MC content. Once TBC hit I played my rogue primarily and raided in a top 10 guild on that server at the time, Darkfire. I saw all content prior to and including TK, SSC, BT (pre nerf) Sunwell (up to twins pre nerf, through Kil'Jaeden post nerf). Once WotLK hit, due to the guilds needs at the time, I switched to primarily playing my Shaman. I cleared Naxx, Ulduar, ToC, and 2 bosses in HToC. Due to the guild merging with another guild, I transfered my toons to Sargeras and have since been playing with a group of real life friends in the guild Velocity. In ICC, I have killed bosses up to Putricide in the Plague wing, and have made attempts on Dreamwalker. Describe your method for theorycrafting your class: As far as theorycrafting goes I've never been one to do the number crunching and such, but I do read up on different forums such as Elitistjerks. I also have stayed in contact with some of the players I have played with over the years who I had known to be the best at their respected classes. I'll sometimes integrate things they have done into my own rotations, specs, etc... Otherwise when I find a spec I like and is on par with other similar specs I will play it in different settings, dungeons, raids, dummys, and will tweak until I like it. Age (18 is required with limited exceptions): 21 Occupation and living arrangements that impact raiding(family, classes, dorm, night shifts etc): Currently I am a student at the University of Iowa and will be in school for a couple more years. As of now there are no classes, shifts, etc...that would impede my being online during raids. Guild you are leaving and why: (If you join another guild without following up here, application will be closed): Currently all of my toons are in Velocity. I'm not "leaving" them, but if things worked out with you guys I would move the toon over that I plan on raiding on. How did you hear about us? List any friends/references within the guild: I don't personally know anyone within XoO, but I had the pleasure of running an ICC 10 pug with Ricerocket and before submitting this application I spoke quite a bit with Limegreen. List consumables you bring to raid: On my rogue I bring my poisons (obviously) and a stack of flasks. On my death knight I bring a stack of flasks. On my warlock I bring a stack of flasks and I usually have a healthy amount of Potions of Wild Magic. On my shaman I bring a stack of flasks. Any Scheduling conflicts (consider possible weekend groups for 10mans): None that are cemented in. Provide measure of your damage/healing such as Recount (Screenshot to include player breakdown of attack %'s), WoW Web Stats (WWS), or World of Logs listing: I'll sort of combine the next question with this one. The stats you see were for Koralon in VoA. http://s1008.photobucket.com/albums/af208/Oneeyedfred/?action=view¤t=UI2.png&newest=1 Provide a UI screenshot: Can be seen in the picture provided above. All of my toons UI's are set up very similar to that. Final comments you feel could help your application: I've been playing this game for quite some time now and enjoy it as much now as I did when I first started playing it. I am a fast learner when it comes to learning fights and mechanics and enjoy playing with/chatting with mature people in game and in vent. I'm putting this application in mainly as a backup for the time-being. I know you guys are on content that requires certain gear levels and my toons gear levels aren't quite there. Unfortunately due to having to pug 25mans and 10 mans I haven't been able to get gear as quickly as I would like, but that's part of the game. I would hope sometime in the future to be able to raid with you guys, but for now would be content in a backup roll. Thank you for taking the time to read my application.
As it stands right now, none of your toons are geared enough for the content we are doing. We do run numerous PuGs that we could consider you for if you are available.
