Call me ignorant, but this is the first time I'm hearing of an organized league centered around hockey on rollerblades, heh. So how is it compared to ice hockey?
Roller hockey is fun...I play during the summer in a pickup league. I played ice hockey for quite a while and there are for sure some differences, but the general skill sets remain the same. One Love, Cal
I played a lot of travel ice when i was younger and moved over to roller Roller is a little less hitting and more about speed skill and puck control Roller is 4 v 4 with no offsides or icing so it is a much faster paced game i enjoy both but knowing I wasnt making the NHL ill take the free equipment and trips with roller while I am still youngish
It looks like ice, but it's played on a synthetic surface... much like something you'd find in a cutting board. One Love, Cal
