    cant forget the ships....love fighting with battleships..bombarding towns miles and miles away..inf spotting for me

    no other games comes close to the intensity of the battles..some battles are futile..some are heroic..some battles last for days and days and when the enemy finally withdraw the attack on that city the sense of accomplishment is immense. or when you attack a large city for a week before you take it..woot!!
    I once fought for 28 hours non stop in one battle. We lost the town but damn we made them pay.

    yea..one day..some day. it would totally blow away any mmo..not just FPS

    This game boosted into a modern engine with BF3 or PS2 graphics would be epic beyond belief. I'd like to see more covering fire and indirect fire in games (and not mortar spam like in BF3).

    I like using the mortar in ww2ol..the ammo is limited..but riflemen can give you extra ammo. you can have a stockpile of 30 shells. smoke and frag.

    smoke is great to cover inf advancing over open ground.

    mortars are loud..you get zeroed in on fast. you will not live long without someone covering your ass.
