It shouldn't even be a movie. George Lucas is a fraud, im glad he made Star Wars when he was high as a joke, then decided to finish the series 15 years later in a retarded way.

What a fucking moron. Did he honestly waste all the money he made already and decided to sucker little kids with an animated version of a storyline that nobody knew existed between episodes 2 and 3 yet nobody missed?

There was already a TV animated series that took place during this part of the timeline. It was very popular and well received, so why not make a feature movie about it?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Clone_Wars_(TV_Series)

The original Star Wars received terrible reviews when it first came out, yet it became one of the most popular of all time. I think I'll watch this one and decide for myself.

This movie is based on the series that was on Cartoon Network. >_>

As such, it's essentially a kids movie.

I'm still excited for it as I loved the Clone Wars minisodes. <3

Yeah I don't really think this movie is made to please die hard star wars fans. More so a hook for the kids of today.

I know what it was about, I watched the original animated series. It was good, and like I said it explained some things between episodes 2 and 3, like how Palpatine was kidnapped ( sort of, you get to see how he was on the dark side too) and why Grevious was hurt at the beginning of episode 3.
But because the animated series was good, doesn't mean he should make a whole movie about it with childish CG.

Woo I was censored for defending myself ^o^

Unfortunately, the movie wasn't done by the same creators of the TV series cartoons, and that's the main thing the reviewer at Ain't It Cool was complaining about. He loved the cartoon series as well and thought the movie did harm to that series' legacy.

well ill still see it, but it is star wars so its got to be entertaining.

  14. Unfortunately for me the trailers didnt sell it to me as something I'd want to see. Instead of getting sold as "another starwars movie" which I would have seen, it was sold as "another childrens 3d animated movie", and I am of the mindset that the medium is WASTED ON CHILDREN. The only ppl who dont waste the medium on kids are the ppl at square-enix (final fanstasy FMV sequences), and look how cool that shit is.

Sorry, i want a starwars movie, not a kid's movie. Lucas U R Fail. Come back when you're stoned off your rocker and ready to make a real starwars movie.

The tv series was really good I don't see why they messed with it if they had used the same people to make it, the movie probably would have been good.

I assumed it was from when his sig refused to show up and was testing to see if it was text too or just images.

I really wish I could see all of those again so I could decide if they really were worse than Jar-Jar Binks. I'm not really sure it's possible to be worse than Jar-Jar.

I vaguely remember the Holiday special, but I was only 6 at the time. Mostly I remember Boba Fett and Wookies. I think we taped it (believing it would not suck) but I think the tape "accidentally" got taped over almost immediately. :p

  19. Being the SW nut I am...

I went to the Midnight Show yesterday. I will say it wasn't all bad but, when it was bad it was Horrible! They really lost me when they turned a hardcore "Hut" into a French Quarter Socialite. Dude, That accent was a cross between COL. Sanders and Rip Taylor. Not good guys.

I won't say anymore, for fear of spoilers. But, honestly.....fail!
