New Reactor Paves the Way for Efficiently Producing Fuel from Sunlight

    The part where it could use CO2 from coal emissions grabbed my attention the most.

    The only problems are that it requires 3,000 degrees fahrenheit to work, it's less than 1% efficient and it wouldn't actually reduce carbon production.

    Well one could argue that if it's put to widespread use, then less coal plants would be needed because the reactor would double the output of used ones. But still, way too far in the future, we need something more immediate.
