Normally not a huge motorola fan as they havent been making that great of phones lately, but this one looks very interesting: Motorola Atrix 4G The phone's battery life is probably going to be horrible. It has the largest battery I have ever seen on a phone, but with dual core processors and 1GB of RAM it will also be sucking down a lot of power. I really like that laptop idea though. I dont want everyone to do it, but having a single company with this concept might be cool. Rather than buying a netbook for on the go internet and email and such, it is nice to be able to have everything stay in sync with your phone since the phone is your laptop. Plus with the hotspot stuff, you dont need to go someplace with wifi to get online, you just use your 6mbps internet connection that your phone has
If you're going to carry around a phone and a laptop why not carry around a true laptop? It's not like you can't tether every highspeed capable phone out there. I can't imagine this thing having more than 1.5hrs of life when being used as a modem as I highly doubt the laptop is going to be able to put out much of a charging solution.
Not a fan of the Moto droids. A bit big and bulky for my tastes, it has my least favorite Android interface, and the phones I have seen my friends with seem to freeze and crash a lot.
I am not a fan of the AT&T network. I get shit for service out here. All the "major hotspots" around my area are dead and the spots away from them, well they are even worse. As for the phone, it doesn't look bad. Looks like a capable smart phone.
