    Needs to be single channel, programmable perferably have a few presets and able to change programs without opening case.

    This project is for my girlfriends Air 240 Case, which she loves rainbows and shit, so thats what I'm going for with the build. Gonna use fairly nuetral components, White corsair Sleeving for the PSU (RM650)

    Anyway Rough build, may go haswell instead tho;

    Prices are Canadian

    Case: Corsair Air 240 (White) (Owned) 80$

    PSU: Corsair RM650 (Owned) 120$
    ~ Cables, either White from Corsair, or custom sleeve them myself to rainbowish.

    Mobo: Unknown, Likely Gigabyte MATX upon release of 1151 (Skylake) 150$ (Equiv tohttp://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128716)

    CPU: Unkown Likely i7 6700k (Skylake) 400$ (Hoping to get for free basically from a staples office chair return)

    Cooler: Corsair H100i (Maybe? I'm really looking to max out on RGB Lighting here, haven't found someone who's made the H100i fade between colors yet) 100$

    RAM: 16GB DDR4 Vengeance Platinum 4x4 GB sticks, and ink the light bar in corresponding colors (Price is Very prohibitive tho) 150$
    ~ Or more likely 16GB DDR3 Corsair Veangeance W/ Platinum RGB LED Ram Cooler.

    GPU: Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 2GB (Owned) 250$

    SSD: Corsair 120-480Gb which one I don't know she isn't a power user just whatever performs at least average across real life work loads. 60$

    HDD: WD 1TB Cavier Blue 60$

    Basis of the build;

    Basically it will be one channel,

    Top and Rear start at same time, and By end of Front and Bottom they will have = LED's, so End same time.

    Signals for the H100i, and RAM Cooler, will be taken from the Diagonals where its appropriate, by soldering off the RGB signal mid Strip on Top, Likewise with the fans, will have to work out how many LED's fit around fan.

    All in All I need to know which strips to use, if I can use less dense strips on the fans or should I? They need to move the light at the same speed.

    I also plan to hook it in off of the power supply's molex and just splice it in solder or w/e and stick it in the back.

    Great part of the Air 240 xD
