Mortal Online Newsletter November 27th 2009 NDA The last months have been a real rollercoaster ride here at Star Vault, albeit a very positive one. Most of the core features planned for release have been introduced and tested in a controlled manner, and we've been extremely eager to see the reception each time. We are now at a point where we feel that, although there is still a lot of work to do, it's time to increase our efforts of marketing the game, and part of this process is the lifting of the NDA. Game looks interesting.. I definitely like the gfx which seem to be getting better every single year.
I will probably buy it and give it a shot, not sure who else would play though. Nothing coming out anytime soon so if this looks good I may be here for a while.
rofl, but you wont be able to play...gg. If people are interested I may be able to rally some more nubs to play the game, but I will have to do a bit of research to see if its worth promoting or not as I have had mixed successes with promoting games (eg. Darkfall and Aion). =P After tomorrow I have like a week before finals so I will have more free time to review the site.
Here is a video I found of how most combat will probably be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1FHpipfUHA
i bit the bullet and took one for all of us ... i have played about 15 hours or so ... made a buncha armor and a few weapons got my taming up so i could tame a horse then quickly got pk'd by 5 guys as of now im sticking around towns just getting an idea for combat and crafting etc etc ... seems to be like UO but 3d to me right now
I also played for a bit about an hour or 2 someone tried to PK at the starter Human town but ran off when I yelled for guards. I'm not too sure if I'm gonna play now that STO is coming out. Kinda upset considering I just paid 80 bucks for the game LOL. It however does still need a lot of work.
