Ok so I purchased might and magic VI off of steam. installed fine, and then when I tried to run it off the ubisoft launcher, nothing. First error message for bitdefender, ok fine, add to allowed list. Now, when I hit play, it just closes. I did a bit of research, and read something about how this launcher does not work on laptops. Does this make sense to anyone? Is there any way to play this game without the launcher? Kinda a waste of money if I cant play it on my laptop, as I will be getting my new comp in time for TOR and will be playing little else then...

    Thoughts, opinions appreciated!

Anythng with Ubisoft has problems. They load it with so much DRM and bloated coding that the games never work right.

I don't play anything from Ubisoft on PC because of their DRM. I love the M&MH series but I refuse to play 6. I would prefer playing the new Assassins Creed on PC but I have it purchased on console because the PC version will be loaded with the same awful DRM as all their titles the past 3 years.

And then there's shit like this assuring that I will never again purchase an Ubisoft PC title until the DRM is removed.

I actually have no problem always connected to the internet DRM for an online game, however if I intend to only play a game offline, let me turn off your fucking DRM like you can in Starcraft II.
