This game is looking amazing. I'm pretty excited with how they're approaching the gameplay. From the looks of it it definitely still looks like it will feel more "simulation" than twitch shooter, which is great news to me.

Open beta supposedly this summer. EXCITING! :D

I like that is seems a bit slower like you said, depends on how bad it's Pay to Win really. These pay to play games can suck over a 100 bucks a month if you want to really compete, I'd never pay that much.

I'm guessing you didn't watch the video to the end. Near the end they mention that it's not a "Pay to Win" model, and that it will require skill to truly be among the best.

To quote him: "You're not going to buy your dominance on the battlefield". Such a wonderful thing to hear.

certainly will take a look at it. However, 12v12 is sorta limiting for longevity of the game

12v12 is a nice start I think. I'd like to see them get more popular and come out with new game modes that allow more players. Only time will tell.

MechWarrior is why I bought my first PC . So needless to say I'm going to sell my house car's everything but my PC so I can set in my one room apartment and play MechWarrior for hours on end.

So yeah really looking forward to this game . but then again with my luck they will release it 12/21/2012 and the world will end.

Yeah, I'm not as disappointed by this as I expected to be. Well, actually I'm not disappointed at all. It's not absolutely flawless but it's beyond good enough for an enjoyable Mech game.

Fingers crossed they aren't going to ruin this impression with broken or otherwise stupid gameplay. It looks good in a video but in competitive play I don't expect to see fights like this against any decent teams.

But when the last Mechwarrior release looked like this, I'm not going to be too picky.
