looking for a new gaming headset

    i am a great fun of game. but my old headset is out of work. how disappointed it is!. so i am looking for a new one. actually, i 've found one one line--Plantronics Gamecom 1 3.5mm Circumaural Stereo Gaming Headset. just for 10bucks. it is a good price for sure. but i am not sure the quality. doea anyone ever use this product? give some tips, thanks

    These are fairly durable unless you drag them for a few hours on the interstate....

    My Gamecom is pretty uncomfortable, the large plastic headpiece has little give and you can't really get it to loosen up by stretching it. The sound quality is OK and the mike works well even when I have a lot of background noise. Overall, I couldn't recommend it to anyone when there are much better products out there for near the price (mine is the Gamecom 377(?) that was about 40 bucks).

    However, looks like you are trying to go pretty inexpensive, so that set might fit your needs. ALthough, for about 10 bucks (IDK, maybe 15 bucks) you can get a Logitech behind the head voicecom headset that is way more comfortable than my Gamecm, of course it isn't a 'gaming' headset but it works well.
