Looking for a AM3 Socket DD2 800MH mobo

    I am being given a AM3 cpu but need to find a mobo that supports at least 8GB of my 16GB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory.

    Trying to-do this on the el-cheapo .. 150$ max anything else could cut into my summer soccer budget.

    They do not exist for your processor. You also cannot use an AM3 motherboard. That processor will work only in an AM3+ motherboard. In order for you to have DDR2 support you must use an AM2+ board, which is quite old.

    oh well, time to search for a cheap arse mobo with ~8GB of ram ... ideas?
