FX-4100 runs hot as shit under load your going to want an aftermarket cooler for it preferably some kind of liquid cooling solution.
I have no idea if it's a good price though since I don't know what the average price of parts are there. I know I payed 900 Canadian for something similar not too long ago. Seems to be about a 20cent difference in NZ favor for exchange rate but I thought I heard some where that NZ and AUD have a bit of a premium on electronics because of shipping or something.

It all looks like a decent midrange gaming computer except for 1 part, the CPU. That processor is not very good. The only one of the new FX I can ever recommend is the FX-8150, and only then if you plan to overclock it to around 5GHz and get it as part of a combo deal $50 off or more.
A much better choice would be the Phenom II X4 955 and overclock that a bit. Or a Thuban 1090T if you can afford it.

I dont know all the prices in NZ, but I remember Australia is WAY expensive for computer hardware. And since you are right next door I can logically assume that your hardware prices are similar. That setup would only cost $700 or so in the States :/
Is it a combo deal on the whole thing? Kinda looks like it is.

Yes, that is pricey. Phenom II X4 (Any) is a great choice.

What you are looking at should be like
    110 CPU
    90 MOBO
    60 RAM
    ~100+/-20 HDD
    20 DVD RW
    50-80 Case
    70 PSU

Gonna leave the wireless out since there's so many alternatives

So that was 540 USD -> $648 NZD... Your OP was double this scratch figure for buying new. Those were just rough numbers but those ARE the numbers for the costs of the parts you're looking for. What preferred sites do you use in NZ? May be able to find a better deal here or there, perhaps on eBay or Amazon.
