The mini-screen is a nice extra, but I hardly ever look at it. Teamspeak has no support for it. With Ventrilo it would be handy as you can see who is talking on the mini-screen. Most games support logitech mini-screens, people create a lot of stuff too. Don't know about the other one.

Best is to see which keyboard is the easiest to access when ingame. Do you need to remove your left hand for too long? Are the buttons too small? Do I touch multiple buttons instead of one?

I'm using the G15 (only 1 sidebutton row + uni color mini-screen) and 18 macro's are enough for me. Also the position of the buttons is nice. Macro's are easy to setup. There;s a lot of documentation. Players make programs for games all the time. Logitech service is also good. My numlock button was broken and they send me a new one. I could keep the old one. A friend fixed it by soldering a loose contact. So he's using it now. The new one is 2 years old now and is still working. Also it's easy to clean, dirt does not effect it at all. Seeing that the G19 is its successor, I would but that one if this one is broken again. (but I said before, I'm a Logitech man)

I have had a G19 for over a year now and I love it. I have had to remove the keys and clean it out a few times. However the price is kind of high (was 200 USD when i bought it a year ago) and I hardly ever use the color LCD screen. I would seriously consider this keyboard as well:

I have been told that it has the best feeling keys to press being that it is mechanical, at least that's how my friend that has it describes it.

Personally I am just not a fan of the design on that COrsair keyboard, I much prefer the Razer designs. But really they are both incredibly similar and would probably last the same and feel the same to type on )comparing each companies mechanical keyboards).

    You're right, I stand corrected.
