landing at the local airport is an adventure

Windy Wellington...it is VERY windy here. Gale force winds are a regular thing here.

Ive taken flights out and in to here about 10 times now. Each time is a thrill.

Not a big flyer, and wanna keep it that way. Pretty cool video tho!

In this country, planes fly sideways.

 

that's no joke. I've flown small planes twice. Drift is a reality, but I don't know I could handle that. I'd probably shit myself.

 

It seems like the same pilot in a few of those shots, where he lands it sideways.

All I gotta say is:

 

fuck that noise. Looks like I'm never taking a plane there!

I think this could actually be a tourist draw.. bungy jumping is for nubs....get your thrills at the airport
