Aion (NA) ApplicationHow old are you? 25 In-Game Name? Laharah Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic? Yes What is your primary class? Chanter What do you like about your job class? I love the team support. In my gaming past and present, Chanter is the only class that I just love from start to finish. I love the buffs. I love off-healing. I love helping keep people alive but also dps-ing when the case calls for it. Let's not forget the sexiness of the staff attacks in this game. They may not do that much damage, but I could watch the animations all day. What is your level (Suggested Level of 50+) 55 Do you have any 45+ alts? Would you be willing to join them to legion? I have a 52 Spiritmaster. I wouldn't really be willing to join with it because I don't really play him all that much. I gave it a try for pets because I love pets, but the Spiritmaster on the whole just isn't quite my style like chanter is. Would you consider yourself more of a PvP or PvE oriented player and why? PvE usually. I love both getting better gear for myself and helping other people get gear. However, I enjoy pvp when I'm not being focused. I'd like to partake in pvp more, but I'm woefully lacking pvp gear. What Legion(s) were you previously with and why did you leave? Hjouse of Spjank: Left when the commanding officer and I had a disagreement about my relationship with my partner. She thought I should leave him, I was very offended by even the mere suggestion to leave a man I love. Kaithiel's Vanguard: I went here after leaving Hjouse for a short time. However, given my personality and the very...morally upright, conservative views of some of the officers... It didn't mesh well. I didn't agree to some officers wanting to police the entire Aion population via reporting them to GMs whenever they were even moderately offended. We mutually decided the legion wasn't for me and I left. Hjouse of Spjank: I went back to Hjouse after the commanding officer and I sort of made up. There were no formal apologies, but we moved past it, leaving the past to the past. Then, Hjouse began to disintegrate due to lack of interest with the grind in Aion. Eventually, a group of us went to Rift. In Rift we had good times together. However, as in Aion, people got bored and stopped logging in. So I left back for Aion. I needed my Chanter fix again. Why did you choose XoO: Kiva from PimpS recommended Xen of Onslaught. When I came back to Aion recently, I knew I needed a legion. I missed the guild banter, helping people gear up, just playing with friends. I had seen Xen of Onslaught around before, but never looked into it since I was in Hjouse for the most part at the time. Previous Gaming Experience: Aion was the first P2P game I ever played. Before that, it was merely F2P mmo's. Flyff: I joined when my friend and eventual roommate in college was playing it. We stopped playing to go to Rappelz. Rising Force Online: A side venture of my own while playing Flyff/Rappelz. I loved the pets. Hecate? Her laugh every time I summoned her filled me with devilish glee. However, since I just played around with it, I never joined a guild and played the game seriously. I left because getting one-shot by Accretians all day long was getting a little tiresome when I was just trying to level up. Rappelz: I played this the longest of any game. I made a Kahuna in open beta. I remained a Kahuna (and then Druid when second classes came). I loved the support. The game turned more towards pets after Epic 3. I loved to gather pets to level. I eventually had to switch to a pet-class (Soul Breeder) to even be able to level pets. I left it for Aion when almost everyone else I knew in the game left it because it had a mindless grind, unbalanced pvp at the best of times, and a cash shop that quickly took over the game due to people who were comfortable spending thousands upon thousands of dollars on it. You couldn't compete with those people when it came to enchanted gear/pets. Aion: I came to this game while searching for a new MMO after leaving Rappelz. I found Aion before it had officially come out. I kept an eye on it. When they released the class videos, I saw the chanter one and knew I had to play. Those staff attacks were so sexy. I eventually left Aion for Rift because most people I knew had left the game, only 1-2 people I knew still regularly played. I was lonely, and people were going to Rift. So off to Rift I went. Rift: The second P2P game I've ever played. I loved playing it well enough. I was a mage. I love the soul system. I love the role system to change which souls you're using. However, my guild in the game has slowly become inactive, and without having people to help and play with, I got bored. I went back to Aion for chanter goodness. Aion (2nd time): I'm back with Aion and itching to find a good legion with good people. Why do you think you'll be a good fit? Honestly? I don't know. I don't know the individuals in the NA Aion XoO legion. However, I do know I love to group up, help people gear up, and generally have fun in the game. What will you contribute to the guild? Contribute? Well, for Aion, I'm fairly familiar with the pve instances. Being a chanter and supporter, I usually just follow orders in groups, making my own decisions on what the group needs and supplying it. I just like to help. Localization: NA Do you have a referral? - A little bit about yourself? My real name is Blaine. It takes me a while to warm up to people usually. I'm shy at first and quiet. But once I'm with a small group of people I'm comfortable with, I go off like a rocket in talking. I'm gay myself, and I would be talking about my partner. We've been together four years, and he's a big part of my life. I'm a nerd. I know I know. Who isn't? But I mean I enjoy science, computers, coding (very limited), and laughing at the lamest science jokes you ever did hear. I went to Purdue for college, majoring in Biology. I minored in Philosophy. If you talk to anyone that knows me, I tend to be wild and across the spectrum. I'm happy to talk about solely game stuff. Science. Math. Sometimes I go off on some huge philosophical tangent. Then people tell me I think too much. Other than that? I don't know. I'm only 25, my life isn't done yet, and I'm still changing. Back in college, I was an absolute rage machine 24/7. I calmed down after college. However, if I feel like I or anyone I know is being attacked at the personal level, I become fiercely defensive. I'm used to being in environments at work, at home, and in games where people are who they are, and there's nothing wrong with that. I don't know. I'm terrible at describing myself or anyone else for that matter. It's difficult to pinpoint. If I had to sum it up, I'd tell you what my friend Jeffrey said (who put up with me a lot all throughout college): "You're strong-minded and strong-willed." Do you have a sense of humor? It ranges from being able to laugh at innocent jokes to the very adult, socially off-track jokes. I msyelf don't tell jokes anymore because...well... Hjouse was the only legion I was ever a part of in any game where you could be yourself where there was absolutely 0 judgement. I can be raunchy with the best of them, or, if kids are present (or anyone who has stated they don't want to hear it), I can merely be passive and quiet. Activity level? 15-20 Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer? Yes Have you applied to the Aion (NA) usergroup? Yes
