KIESELvs1 Why did you choose XoO? Old friend of mine from highschool that I played planetside 1 & battlefield 2142 with had joined up and I was interested grouping with him. Having just installed planetside 2 now that my computer can actually run it. What can you bring to the table? I'm a good shot, with decent reflexes, and I generally have good situational awareness. While I'm generally too Aggressive to be a good sniper, I tend to play the mid range game with the more accurate battle rifle type weapons. When forced against close range specialists, I usually try to take advantage of terrain and get the drop on them. I consider myself a pretty good tanker, preffering the magrider for its tank-destroyer like properties. (back in planetside 1 I focused on the magrider and MAXsuits, I used to be able to get the jumping MAXes into the most unexpected places. Not sure yet how to feel about that ability being moved to a different class.) I do tend to prefer flanking to relying on twitch reflexes when facing a entrenched enemy. It works well for breaking stalemates, but if the battle shifts while I am moving, it can take me extra time to get into position to contribute. (This is mostly because I tend to prefer hanging out at longer range, and the circle I have to travel is larger at that distance.) I also have a bad habit of using weapons for sub optimal purposes... such as shooting at a reaver with a lightning's cannon... admittedly I did scare him off his strafing run when i started landing hits but it really wasn't the best idea. My only real worry is about the activity requirement, falling somewhat on the casual end of the scale. If something comes up and I cant play that week, me remembering to go tell people about it may get lost in whatever else I'm dealing with. (be general ex 6pm -10pm) 8pm-midnight PST sometimes earlier during weekends. What is your favorite class to play? still deciding... In PS1 I tended towards engineer and MAX, but heavy weapons and jumping have been restricted/moved to other classes What is your favorite vehicle to use? magrider You’re standing at a Sunderer, an enemy tank approaches over the nearest hiiltop. What do you do? well If it's my sunderer and I can drive it... I might book it. If there are enough defenders around, ill use the terminal to switch to an engineer and repair it. alternately if I know that it is probably dead meat Ill switch to a heavy assault and take rocket potshots at the tank hoping to scare it away. You’re standing at a Sunderer, an enemy air-unit approaches in the distance. What do you do? if the sunderer has a decent AA weapon equipped and no gunners, that is always an option. I'm still getting used to the changes from PS1 to PS2 so i dont know if MAX can be equipped at sunderers, but an AA max would be a good option. In your opinion, which vehicle is most important to the game? anything with a spawn point. In your opinion, which class is most important to the game? All the classes have an important role to play... (though I think that infiltrators who play as snipers are often less useful than ones who play as ganking infiltration units) Which of these traits most accuratly reflects your approach to gaming.
