    Kié 80 Belf Priest

    1. Character Info: Name, Class, Main Spec (Link armory):
    Kié-Holy Priest

    2. Explaine your talent selection (theorycrafting source, specialization choices etc):
As holy i spec 13/58/0. This is of course a standard holy spec, going into disc for mana regen, and going all the way down holy, as well as picking up empowered renew for the 3000+ ticks.

    3. Your Age:
    21

    4. Current professions and their raid benefit:
I am jewelcrafting/enchanting both 450. Raid benefit for enchanting is the extra spell power. For jewelcrafting well it allows me to boost any stat i might be lacking, but mostly for the spell power gain.

    5. How long you've been playing WoW and what PvE progression you've accomplished:
Ive been playing WoW for almost 3 years now off and on, started before BC came out but never really raided until BC. I cleared everything in bc up to Mother in BT with an alliance guild named Argent Vanguard. I have also cleared everything in Wrath including 10 man LK and 8/12 heroic 10 man as of now.

    6. Describe how you theorycraft your class:
Well in my eyes, the best stat for any spec priest is sp, if your gear is decent enough to hold a high amount of haste and in holy specs, spirit as well. For every gem i have in my gear, it increases my sp. matching all bonuses that increase it with sp/haste gems or sp/spirit. I do check EJ often looking for new idea, but for the most part, everything i have tried spec/gem wise has been my own ideas, and I've tested them myself, seeing what performs better in a raiding situation.

    7. Occupation and living arrangements that impact raiding (family, schedule, etc):
I have a job that allows me to raid anytime i need, i live on my own of course so nothing interferes with raiding nights.

    8. Guild History - where are you leaving and why:
As of right now i am in Invalid, but they don't have room for me as holy, which is my preferred spec of raiding. I am great in both healing specs, and don't mind having both specced. Just prefer to have a chance as holy.

    9. How did you hear about us? List any friends/references within the guild:
I talked with Detoxz and Fluffytoy in regards to what you guys needed, and about joining.

    10. List your raid consumables and your method for maximizing them:
I have unlimited amounts of mana potions, flasks and spell power food available for every raid. Flask before first boss of the night on the pull, log out for breaks if any, and well i do not normally use mana pots, first time ever needing one was on the LK fight lol.

    11. List scheduling conflicts (include times for possible weekend 10mans):
Never any conflicts given a days notice i can arrange to be home on time.

    12. Provide your raid damage/healing performance. Examples are Recount Screenshot with personal breakdown of attacks, WoW Web Stats (WWS), or World of Logs:
At this time, i don't have a recount of my healing Screen shot, so ill explain how it looks 90% of the time, depending on raid healing or tank healing. And i will be sure to SS the next raid i heal if you wish to take a look for yourself.

Holy- In a raid healing situation, with huge raid damage(Marro/Fester/Sind) i pull easily 5.5-6k Hps, top healing would be PoM/PoH and CoH are always close/Flash heal. In all of these fights i have yet to have a mana issue.

Holy- In a tank healing situation its about 3-4k Hps depending on if I'm healing one tank or a few. Top healing would most likely be Flash heal/CoH or PoM/Greater heal(in a fight where spike damage is an issue)

Disc- In a tank healing situation(only kind a disc priest should be in) its only about 2-3k on the meters, but an equal amount of absorption done as well as healing done, makes up for the lack of healing shown on the meters. I use recount-guessed absorption to track this.

    13. Provide a screenshot of your UI:

This is of course ignoring the things in the bottom right, i opened X-perl to show you where my raid frames are. Yes i have tried grid, i do not like it compared to what i use for healing.

    14. Can you take constructive criticism and being call out on mistakes (both in and out of raid)?
Yes i can handle anything people say about me, i will be the first to call out my mistakes, and admit to it.

    15. Final comments you feel could help your application:
Well i am an extremely good player, not conceited, i just adapt well to situations, listen well to instructions, and know every mechanic to every fight that is out right now due to raid leading and researching. I do believe i would be a great asset to your guild. Thanks for taking the time to look over my app.

    Armory link please.

Also, we currently have 5 full time healers and 3 recruits. While I'm all for having redundancy so that we're never short on healing, and for promoting competition, 9 of us on the roster is significantly more than we need on a nightly basis. So, 2 questions before anything else:

    1. Do you have a DPS set and is it ICC-25 viable?
    2. How do you feel about sitting for up to 1/3 of raids, or even more during your trial period?

There are main raid spots available for healers right now. I just wanted to make sure you understood that we have several trial healers at the moment and you may not be able to raid every night during your trial. Having a DPS set would definitely help smooth this out.

I understand you were recently disc and only now switched to holy. Is your current gear still SP gemmed because of this or do you plan on gemming SP as holy also?

i agree with rael, having a priest able to switch from holy/disc is definitely a plus. Seeing how some hard modes it is almost required to have 2 disc priests.

well, i believe that we can work with someone willing to try other specs and such, but ultimately raiding is with the spec you enjoy the most. the possibility of sitting is due to the influx of recruits and the somewhat chaotic downturn of raiders throughout horde side, so anything like that would be temporary.
