Ok, so I have a zboard with the normal layout set, and a Razer naga. I love my mouse to death, but it has developed some triple clicking bs/not clicking at all. Like when I left click in CoD, it acts like the gun jams and I end up dying or firing one shot and then get shot in the face by the guy I would have killed. I really do like the buttons on the side though, but.. honestly not really a deal breaker as it more annoying than useful. Keyboard is going out, buttons are no longer working on it, I can no longer push the number five key or anything like that. So my questions are, I need a decent gaming keyboard/mouse without breaking the bank and making the wife flip the fuck out. lol. No but seriously, something decent but also cheap as well. Preferably something in the lines of 100 bucks or less total.
are macros necessary for the keyboard and/or mouse? If you want a really cheap setup that gives great performance but no features of any kind, check these out: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826146010 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823201038
I loved my old G15 til it crapped out. I also use the G9 mouse and love the weight adjustments and swappable grips
Erick read my post. I HAVE the naga Lol. I love it to death with the buttons. But when I try to si glen click it will double and triple click at times. And No. Notfancy or require macros orshit like that.
Get a Belkin Nostromo key pad and a decent mouse and keyboard. With that set up you wont have to worry about fancy mouse button and keyboard set up. The keypad works great in both settings, FPS, MMO and other types of games since all the buttons can be programed with different key strokes and macros. Here is a link to the razer equivilant. Razer Wired Nostromo Keypad.
Would possibly like a USB keyboard. I use a zboard as of right now. I like that mouse and the N52TE from razer.. but I would have to wait on that honestly.. I love my naga to death, wish it would stop double and triple clicking =/
i had the same problem with mouse a few months ago and had to retire it and go back to my old lazer mouse But for gaming i use the gaming pad http://reviews.cnet.com/game-accessories/ideazon-zboard-fang-gamepad/4505-10110_7-31956925.html
Update your firmware on the mouse. The logitech G series are always solid keyboards. I think if you end up buying another Naga you should get a discount on your next razer store purchase, so you could consider picking up a KB from them.
Would that stop the triple clicking that happens? I go to single click and it clicks multiple times for me. If anything, there is a 20 dollar logitech keyboard I found on Newegg.. looks solid, and its logitech. Always good stuff from them. Can't justify "Breaking the bank" on peripherals anymore. Now that I have to explain myself to my fiancee about why I need an 80 dollar mouse does not work anymore. lol.
