TERA Online ApplicationHow old are you? 24 In-Game Name? Kel something Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic? Yes What is your primary class? Sorcerer Why did you choose XoO: Most people play games with others that they share a goal, or share the same mentality with. For me I like Xoo's drive for the top, the winner mentality. I also like how Xoo is fairly organized and active. Previous Gaming Experience: Games that I played with XOO on the same server... RF(CM) KelKaras L50 spec Acc on Spirit then Novus with Hellbound/Shadowlegion Same game different server: Aion, L50 SM on Azphel with Hellbound and small games like Vindictus, cabal, 2moons, various other f2p korean grinders. Why do you think you'll be a good fit? The same reason I chose Xoo, share the same mentality, looking for an organized guild with active members to raid, gank, BG. What will you contribute to the guild? Active member to attend raids, ganks, BG's, where ever the guild needs me, i'll be there. Localization: NA Do you have a referral? - A little bit about yourself? My name is Mike, live on the west coast of canada, in vancouver. Uh... working as a junior accountant, and I need the anarchy nature of mmo to keep myself sane. Activity level? 3-4 Weekdays, 10+ weekends, so roughly 35-40hrs?? Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer? Yes Have you applied to the TERA usergroup? Yes
Why did I choose Xoo: As I mentioned above XOO has always been a competitive guild. Since GW1 to RF to Aion. Where ever there was PvP, if ppl saw XOO showing up, they know the party's started and serious fun time is about to happen, as a guild XOO has always commanded respect and fair bit of hating (another form of respect) from others on the same server. Second reason I chose XOO is because of its long history. A guild that's been together for almost 10 years shows how close this guild is. As I mentioned earlier, it's not what games you play, it's who you play with that makes the games that much more enjoyable. Previous gaming experience: RF Online, played since beta on the CM servers. Think I was the 2nd or 3rd pure spec to hit 50. After servers merged into Novus, and population began to die off, I left to play other games. After RF I just hopped from one f2p to another, until Aion went to beta in Korea. Hopped on KAion with a few friends as a sorc and got to lvl 50. After NA Aion came out, I wanted to try something different and HB needed a SM, so I rolled a SM, big mistake. I figured out i'm not the type to slowly dot the enemy to death. Much prefered the play style of the Sorc over the SM. After hitting 50 on Aion, and no body wants SM's for any kind of party except dreadgions, I stopped playing when the core group of HB stopped playing. Been on a mmo drought ever since, waiting for Tera/C9 to come out. Why do you think you'll be a good fit? Dedication and drive, at reaching max level, at helping the guild get mats for crafting, help powerlevel the lowbies, to keeping gankers off prime leveling spot. What will you contribute to the guild? On top of an active participant, I can provide knowledge. I like to research a game before the release, so I would usually go through various fansites, be it chinese or english or google translated Korean to understand the features, and mechanics. All this info will help with leveling as well as pvp to reach the #1 rankings on the server.
I knew that name sounded familiar! Hey KelKaras! Nice to see another one of our previous enemies deciding to come to XoO! Best of luck on your application. FYI, he was one of our main targets back in RFO and being from RFO, he is a PvP'er at heart. Just my 2 cents....
Interviewed and ACCEPTED. Your 30-day probationary period begins now. Make sure you check out the New Recruits Guide for TERA and follow the instructions. A good deal of time remains until the game's release so stay active on the forums and in TeamSpeak as much as possible. You now have access to the members section of the forums. Feel free to create an introduction thread and familiarize yourself with the TERA forums. You are welcome to play any of the other supported games, however you would need to contact the Commanding Officer of that division [that is listed on the main page, to the right] for info on how to join them. If you have any other questions/comments don't hesitate to ask. Welcome to the XoO.
Hello Rubius and Senrai. Yes this is that Kel from RF. It was nice to see so many familiar names on the forums, and hopefully play with you guys in Tera!
I won't clog up Senrai's post in the members area but indeed, its good to see a fellow RFOer join us! Welcome to the madhouse =P Not sure if you've had a look around yet, but there is still an RFO section on here for people playing on private servers and while we wait for Saffaya to get his own private one sorted ^^ There are a lot of the old crowd from RFO waiting on that
