How can he screw it up? He has like one thing he can do, safe bet on his part IMO.

That preview make it look like the movie is going to have an environmental spin to it. I am getting a little sick of this.

Yeah, it looked epic indeed. Although, it def. looked like it's going to be a different type of movie from the original. More of an action/horror spin on it, which may or may not be a good thing. Will still see it. : P

The only time keanu can actually act decently is when he is wearing shades, once you see the eyes the acting goes down hill. ;o

I never really understood peoples problem with Keanu. Maybe I just haven't seen enough of his movies.

I think I've seen...all of them. There are some roles that were a bad fit, but generally speaking I actually really like him. If I came up with a top-10 favorite movies list I'd probably have 2 of his in there.
Worked great for The Matrix. Seriously...what do you expect humans socialized by machines to sound like?

I think he kind of got stuck, though. Everyone gave him shit for Bill & Ted (definitely not deadpan) and so now he's kind of played things overly "serious" ever since.

I totally forgot about that, yeah I have to agree. Just for pure acting sake I think it's better, but for graphics and writing I have to go with Matrix 1
