Karmapolice - Aletheia

  1. Age (18+ Requirement): 21

    Name (IGN): Karmapolice

    Class: Spiritmaster

Level (lvl 20+ requirement): 40 atm

Professions: Weapon Smithing 216/ Tailoring 40 (atm)

Do you have vent and a mic?: Yes to both.

    Previous gaming experience:

Guild Wars (on and off since it came out) - I especially love its organized, balanced, and intimate styles of PvP (The PvE is decent). When I was in XoO main division, I very much enjoyed GvG's under Biliiard The Bold and Moskel Helkin's leads (especially Moskel's screaming). I normally play a Necromancer in PvE and PvP, but I can also play other casters--I tend to play back-line or mid-line roles. My main IGNs then were Leon Vii and Gadien Uebermensch. My current mains are Mom Says Im A Catch and Wat The Pho.

Lineage 2 (4 years) - Played multiple classes - Phantom Summoner, Hawkeye, Prophet, Spell Singer, Blademaster, Sword Singer, Sorcerer, Necromancer, Bounty Hunter.

Warhammer online (beta) - Played Witch Hunter and loved how you can gain pvp xp at lvl 1 and from there forth :). I didn't stay with it due to life demands.

WoW (< 1 year) - Started playing when the game was released and rolled an Orc Warlock (they're all about control :p) and Undead Rogue. The game lost its spark for me and became less challenging as time and updates went on.

Why did you choose XoO / Why do you think you'll be a good fit:?

After playing GW with XoO for awhile, I really appreciate XoO trying its best to serve each player's interests through its sub-divisions for HA, GvG, PvE and such. It was super fun before XoO in GW was dissolving--great round of people. From that impression, I assume XoO will continue to efficiently serve the best to both player and guild's interests. I know XoO is all it is cracked to be and consistent with its conduct.

What will you contribute to the guild / How will you improve our guild and be a valued member?

Since I do enjoy the Spiritmaster's strong PvE abilities like DoT spells and summons' abilities and PvP abilities such as buff removals and disables, not only will a Spiritmaster be a relatively valuable addition to the pool, but I would like to contribute by helping others in PvE whether that be aiding members in the Abyss/quests or boss raiding and joining in PvPs whether that be taking role in the support teams so that the main force could break down a fortress gate more easily or just some quick asmo hunts. The Spiritmaster has strong capabilities in both realms.

    Do you have a referal?:

    Nope.

    A little bit about yourself:

    - I may actually be stupider than I sound here XD.
    - Chinese American (and yes, I speak 'Asian.')
    - 3rd year majoring in Anthropology and Cognitive Science (neuropsychological science/jedi studies)
    - I'm not religious, but I'm not one of those who deliberately say things like 'religion is man's foolish attempt to fill in the gaps of human understanding,' separate themselves like jaded Atheists, and then make mad love to their egos.
    - I can be rational and yet still be an interpretative being.
    - I'm fluent in sarcasm.

Now, this is where it gets serious and I believe you deserve to know a bit of my situation: I'm currently in a legion, Aletheia. My real life friend is in the legion. We've known each other for 3 years and we get along, but only outside of the game. In games, we reveal many conflict of interests. My mistake was to join the same legion as he was in--he's an legion officer and I was just a member. After even trying to compromise, tensions were no longer between ranks and they were ruining our friendship. So now I'm planning to leave, not willing to dump 3 years of history with a close friend, and trying to find a stable guild and yet still be a true friend. From past experience, XoO has been promising. Anyways, not to give you too much info.

Guild drama is inevitable at times, but I'm all in it for the ride. That's life. :)

    Activity Level? (hrs/week - 30hrs min):

At this rate, it's been an average of 27 hours/day, but college just started for me so maybe 20 hrs/week. I stormed to lvl 30 as fast as I can so that I can conveniently jump in with the future majority while I'm at college.

    Apply to usergroup: Done
