Planetside 2 ApplicationHow old are you? 24 In-Game Name? juicyJ Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic? Yes Why did you choose XoO: Throughout my gaming history, I've learned this: A game is only as good as its' community. As a veteran to MMOs, I know the most successful guilds/clans have a good community. A community of like minded people, who aren't there for their own agenda, but there to benefit the guild, and thus the guild will benefit them. With Planetside 2 coming up, I want to become part of a community that is like minded. What makes my heart flutter is PvP, but even better is PvP with a solid group of people. People you can rely on, people you can trust. Why did I choose XoO? Because I want to be one of those on the front lines, using real tactics, setting up ambushes, or raids on bases and towers. I can already see that XoO is a big community, but as a guild, is tight overall, and tight in each individual game. Why did I choose XoO over all the other outfits? Because you have the history and community I seek. You are a well established and powerful organization. I want to dominate in Planetside 2. I want to dominate with Xen of Onslaught. Previous Gaming Experience: Lets see, I first started with Everquest in 2000. This was my induction into MMOs, and I got hook. It wasn't so much the game I loved, but the community. It was big and populated. I could go into any zone and chat it up for fun. In the end, I played EQ up until a bit after Shadows of Luclin. I never was real competitive in EQ, didn't really feel I had a purpose or goal. Next game was the one and only Planetside. I played Planetside for a good while, don't remember how long. I mostly played on and off, because Star Wars Galaxies came out. This is where my MMO history shines, Star Wars Galaxies. I started on Starsider with my buddy, but 2 days later, moved to Bloodfin. Once I was an established player, I sought out guilds. I first started with Divinity, but found they weren't ambitious enough, so I went solo for a bit, and started to get into PvP. One day in Bestine, I was Overtly Imperial, and ran into a bunch of Overt Rebels, of the guild FIGHT. Needless to say, I was going to the cloner. But then, a mass group port into the starport, rolling in force was DREAD. This is where I met DREAD, the top PvP guild on Bloodfin. After a steamrolling battle, I was invited into their Ventrilo, and proceeded to shoot the shit with them. I accompanied them everywhere. This was the guild! Nothing but PvPers and griefers, I loved it. So I joined DREAD, and stayed with them for years. We dabbled in WoW for abit, but came back to SWG. Then, after the NGE, we started to splinter, and now I believe they are in SWTOR. After that, I never really stayed with a MMO. I just could never find that same style community, the one I loved. Coming into ventrilo, and have a good time. Didnt matter what it was, I enjoyed it because of the people. What will you contribute to the guild? As a member of XoO, I will contribute in any way possible. I will follow orders to the T, and execute them with the best of my ability. I plan to move into a leadership position, and be part of some great and epic battles. I plan to carry the name Xen of Onslaught into battle, and uphold the name of the outfit. Im no stranger to leadership, as you will see in my bio. Localization: NA Do you have a referral? - A little bit about yourself? I am 24 years old, living in California. I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2007 on a five year contract as a 0341 (Mortarmen) and Fleet Anti Terrorism Security Team. I love bodybuilding, and serious about the sport. Activity level? 40+ (Currently not playing MMOs however) Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer? Yes Have you applied to the Planetside 2 usergroup? Yes
Thanks you for filling out an application and for you interest in our Guild/Outfit. Your early gaming is very similar to mine. I started out in Everquest (TRAIN TO ZONE!). I loved Crushbone. Then I moved on to Planetside (which I've been playing on and off since 2003) and then to SWG. It's nice to see you value pvp and competitiveness as much as we do. The final step to becoming a full member is a voice interview where one of us will ask you a few more in-depth questions and then we answer any that you may have. I've pm'd you the information for our Teamspeak server. My availability varies, but it's usually between 5pm to 3am CST. Hope to see you soon!
