Guild Wars ApplicationHow old are you? 24 In-Game Name? Jc Tavastia Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic? Yes What is your prefered playstyle? PvP Which Campaign(s) do you own/planning to purchase? Prophecies Factions Nightfall What kinds of activities are you interested in? I have probably played for about 4 years. The first two being PvE with friends and then the next 2 spent in PvP. I primarily played HA with a group of folks in Senior Citizen Gamers [OLD]. I chose them because they seemed stable enough, even though I was <21 at the time. To this day I still keep in touch, although they have pretty much quit the game and moved on. I am primarily interested in GvG at this time. I made a few of my own GvG guilds and actually was part of the same 8 guys for about 4 months straight (long lifetime for GvG guilds), playing day in day out and having fun, but we never were elite, just above average. Please list any accomplishments you may have earned. -Hero 9 -Gladiator 5 -Slew of other things, but these took most of my time so I remember them the best. All of my PvE characters are outfitted for PvP, I dont have any PvP slots actually, since I just use a PvE guy. I guess I'm a UAX person. I never got hardcore serious, and when I found I was around those hardcore serious people, I walked away. I play games to relax and have fun, but I still remain competitive because nobody likes to lose. Best time to contact In-Game? I will probably be playing California evenings. -8 GMT, PST. Weekends will be available most of the day. How long have you been playing GW? Since release What are you good at? What builds/professions do you usually play? What weaknesses do you find yourself having? I usually play monk or ranger. When monking, I know what to do, but execution under pressure remains my weakness. I was raised in the arcades, and there, when things got tough, you start smashing buttons and you might come out alive. The silver lining is that, since having played monk for 4 years, I know how to support the monk. As such, any support defense class, I excel at. I am a calm, conservative player and, if left to my own devices, would defend before attacking. I am able to outwit the common player, whenever I played in the past, I played with tact and precision, I don't cast AoE on moving targets, etc. Most of my time playing was with Euros, and they will tell you that they are better than Americans, so I feel pretty fortunate to have been able to come up under them. Previous Gaming Experience: GW was my first MMO. Before that, it was all about CS (from beta 5.2 to Source, still actively playing. I'm actually filing out this application between rounds). Also played Tribes a lot (google it). Tribes: Ascend is coming out and I'm happy about that. That game took a lot of team work, but when I was 14 I just wanted to shoot things. Why did you choose XoO: I am looking for a tight nit group of people that I can transition with between not only GW1 and GW2, but maybe CS and Tribes. I like the age requirement. Why do you think you'll be a good fit? I'm easy. I just want to play. I carry myself low on the radar (see the empty references/guild history), and I don't need attention. What will you contribute to the guild? An active player who supports the team. Localization: NA Do you have a referral? 1cy A little bit about yourself? I think I sprinkled the answer here in the previous questions. But on a personal note, 24 y/o college grad, I use my degree at an engineering firm everyday. I drive a Jeep and am currently house hunting. Activity level? <20 (not much less, but I do work 40 hours) Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer? Yes Have you applied to the GW1 usergroup? Yes
