its a cool idea, but ya seems a lil thin to be a sleeping bag or jacket. also thats not so much a tent as it is a body bag
it looks like its just a windbreaker, and with the tent you can see its just mesh covering his arms. this would be good if you were hiking and rain moved in on you lol
Concur, kinda like gortex. It'll keep some wind off ya and dry, which feels warm, but minimal real warmth properties.
Oh, and if you go to the website, you'll see this as their logo: Now we know where the idea came from.
the only thing that keeps out is bugs by the looks of it... and theres way more practical ways of doing it!
Windbreaker + Slanket idea = Way to sell a windbreaker for $300 On the otherhand, any bivy sack will work as a tent/sleepingbag for $300 in anything from torrential rain to sandstorms and from -30c to +40c, and because they are actually useful you will find them used online for half the price. Don't have a windbreaker? Go buy a windbreaker, they are like $30-$50
