hey, atm im doing alittle interview assignment for my damn careers-management-for-tech-people-class [tis required, alas]

basically, i need to interview some people who work in 'related fields' and i know theres some IT people around here, its just 15Qs long and would be a big help.

    scratch the following, see below
    update:
    ah, good news and joy

ive just been informed by a peer than this assignment, unlike every other weve done to date, will be two weeks long, as opposed to the usual one week.

thus my need is no longer immediate, but id still like to set somthing up with anyone willing to help me

I'm not sure I meet the requirements, but I'd be happy to answer some questions for you. I previously worked as a programmer (VB6, VB.NET, SQL mostly, some PLC programming as well) in a chemical engineering firm, and am currently working at a biotech lab where I occasionally get to exercise some of this previous experience; mostly doing CAD work and trouble-shooting software issues with the new synthesis machines.

If that sounds like it may be applicable, send me a PM with the questions, and I'll reply as soon as I'm able.

Not really sure if this is what you're looking for, as the OP is rather vague in regards to who you are looking to interview, or alternately way too specific (IT people only?).

I presume postgrad students don't qualify as "professionals"...

Guess I am a little late, sorry man. If you need a Sys Admin in the future let me know via AIM or whatever you use. I don't check the forums enough to see these things.
