gj, way to stick with it. A bit too long for my tastes but, still interesting bits. Loved the discussion about Blizzcon, not so much about the war and video games and guitar hero, but overall good.

Is it just me or does it skip and cut in and out quite a bit in the middle?

Also get insight into the current gaming industry. Always love hearing from PDog and his research and inside point of view. Can't wait to get into the gaming industry and actually making the games

I love it! Pdog is basically a bottomless pit of gaming info. Pretty bad ass. I agree though, might be a little long.

I actually think its short.. I'd only say its long in respects that its just full of information. Not really talking about certain things that could be fun and exciting.. Bring a little humor into, maybe you got a new shiny toy in WoW or finished all the achievements in CoD4.. Or talk about how Americas Army is crap and they should be paying us to play it.

if by short you mean insanely long then yeah it is. After about 5 minutes I started to do some major fast fowarding.

And why did you fast forward, because you didn't like what they were talking about? I mean I'll admit I didn't listen to all of the Holocaust and Games.. Just was sorta boring. Its a good length for gaming just need more opinion over just plain information.

I thought it was an alright first podcast. Now that the first one is finally up for download, the crew will be getting together shortly to discuss the next one. I know there's a few things I'd like to add to the next one as well as things to fix, so hopefully they will continue to improve and get better and better.

short attention span? hrmmm, anime or a podcast, porn or a podcast, gaming or a podcast, sleeping or a podcast, getting anal rammed or a podcast...ok, for the last one I agree a podcast is much better, but for the others generally a podcast can't compete. I don't even listen to the podcasts from actual games.

The only ones I have listened to were the WAR ones because they kept in short and sweet when they were discussing gameplay before release.

30 is max amount of time I will spend listening to any podcast.

I personally prefer to keep the podcasts around 45min - an hour. It allows us to cram everything we want to cram into the podcast. Keep in mind, if this was just a general overview of things going on in XoO, it'd be short. But we're diving into the industry as well with gaming updates, discussion and ideas. You can't discuss everything we want to and plan to discuss in a short podcast.

Yea if you are just doing something over one game then yea I'd say keep it short..

hmm, I guess I agree that you really cannot discuss a whole lot with only 15min and it would be harder to create multiple 15min podcasts than create a single 45min one.

A good idea may be to go over what your going to cover in the beginning so the listener has an idea of what to expect. Much like the contents page of a book.

Not a bad idea actually. Or at least put it in the description of something of the podcast after it's complete. Like:

Podcast #2. Topics of Discussion: blah blah blah blah.
