Planetside 2 ApplicationHow old are you? 23 Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a microphone? Yes Do you understand that Teamspeak usage is required at ALL times? Yes In-Game Name? InvalidPointers Why did you choose XoO? XOO/BoG merger What can you bring to the table? Broad array of skill/cert investment with a particular emphasis on stealth/Infiltrator certifications and full squad leader tree. I also have considerable investment in Engineer and Medic support tool trees. Localization: North America Activity level? Variable, depending on work schedule Please list all your alts on Waterson n/a What are your normal play times? (be general ex 6pm -10pm) 6pm-1am, work-dependent What is your favorite class to play? Infiltrator (about ~60% of total time played) but I can generally do anything except flight passably. What is your favorite vehicle to use? Harasser You’re standing at a Sunderer, an enemy tank approaches over the nearest hiiltop. What do you do? Depending on local class distribution, a quick application of C4, Decimator rockets or Cosmos rounds may be helpful; if the tank has not noticed the sunderer (I deliberately pull vehicle stealth for this reason) it may be helpful to avoid engaging the tank directly and waiting for it to move on before hitting it with focused Lancer fire out of retaliation range. You’re standing at a Sunderer, an enemy air-unit approaches in the distance. What do you do? Substitute appropriate anti-air equipment where appropriate for the anti-vehicle response. In your opinion, which vehicle is most important to the game? Sunderer, if primarily for the infantry spawning utility. Any vehicle can kill, and MBTs are largely outclassed in combat effectiveness by a well-equipped Harasser. In your opinion, which class is most important to the game? No particular preference; infantry gameplay as a whole is in a lot better shape than the vehicle and air game. A balanced, coordinated squad generally counts for vastly more than massing any one class. I do feel Heavy Assault is a little out of line in terms of overall utility, considering the rather ill-defined 'good at killing errthang' basically describes 90% of the minute-to-minute gameplay in PS2, but this may change with future balance passes. Which of these traits most accuratly reflects your approach to gaming. Competitive What type of Outfit are you looking for? Competitive Do you have a referral? Maergoth How did you hear about XoO? Ingame contact/outfit merge
I know this is like, the third time you've posted an application. Thanks for being patient about it, because after the silly policy I've gone through the past week with Orbitz and SOElive stuff, I'd probably have just said fuck it :/ Your resolve is greater than mine, sir.
It's cool. I typed out a big long application initially, had submission time out on me, then one of the officers said 'just fill it all out with one-word responses' which I was also perfectly okay with. These XOO guys seem okay in in-game interactions, though, so I'm willing to work with them on the whole application thing. I still continue to play Infiltrator in its current state, though, which should tell you all you need to know re: sticking to things
