    iúmentum, druid, resto or cat.

    1. Character Name, Class, and Main Spec:
Iúmentum (ú = alt 163), Druid, Restoration main spec, also have Ulduar25 Cat and Boomkin gear, and a
semi-below par bear set. Note I am not very experienced as Boomkin, but could learn if needs be.

    2. Armory Link: (explain talent choices here in needed):
    http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sargeras&n=Iúmentum
Why Brambles over nature's grace? I’m a Rejuv spammer, w/ occasional this and that, this being WG,
and that being swiftmend and lifebloom, I rarely ever cast and NG does not proc off Rejuv crits, although it does not do much
the extra thorn dmg would be more beneficial for the tanks than the 3 secs of haste, plus I
am already haste soft cap, if you think otherwise, my meters speak form themselves.

    3. List raid helpful professions:
    Max Herbalism and Transmute Alchemist

    4. Time playing WoW and PvE progression:
Vanilla WoW I was a noob, BC cleared Hyjal and up to but not including Mother in BT, WotLK: Naxx25,
    Ulduar25 excluding Algalon, ToC25 and ToGC10.

    5. PvP influences and impact on raiding:
I don't PvP much at all, occasionally when I get bored of leveling my alts.

    6. Age (18 is required with limited exceptions):
    23

    7. Occupation and living arrangements that impact raiding (family, classes, dorm, night shifts etc):
I work day shift 6:30am-3:00pm (cst) at a bottling facility, and I play wow. I normally go to sleep at
10:30ish pm, but if it is for something worthwhile then I can manage the extra time for raiding.

    8. Guild you are leaving and why: (If you join another guild without following up here, application will be closed):
Conundrum, not enough discipline in the leadership to progress in heroic content. I do not want to go into any further details in a public forum, feel free to ask in-game for further explanation.

    9. How did you hear about us? List any friends/references within the guild:
/2 Trade spam, I may have raided w/ some of xoo members in pugs, but do not recall any names.

    10. List consumables you bring to raid:
The appropriate flask/pots/and food for my current spec, and my fishing pole.

    11. Additional Scheduling conflicts (consider possible weekend groups for 10mans):
    None.

    12. Provide measure of your damage/healing such as Recount (Screenshot to include player breakdown of attack %'s), WoW Web Stats (WWS), or World of Logs listing:
    Healing:
    http://www.wowmeteronline.com/combat/log/1054592
I have no current cat meters.

    13. Provide a UI screenshot from raid combat:
Don't have anywhere to post pics at, I can email one if needs be, as i sent one to an email address i was given earlier.

    14. Final comments you feel could help your application:
I prefer healing, but know how to play as cat, whichever is needed the most, as well as a decent boomkin set, and a mediocre tanking set. I have not spec'd boomkin since 3.2.2, but willing to relearn.

We raid till 11 server time. How would you be able to handle this? Also, I'm not a resto druid nor do I know much about it, but is a speed increase meta the best choice to go with?

I would like to see a response to that gem as well, not because I disagree with the choice, but because I want to understand how you think as a progression raider.

We do raid up until 11PM CST and while it may not always end at 11PM, I would like to know more about how you would feel about being expected to raid until then.

Finally, as I explained in game we currently have two Trees at the moment with decent attendance, but I would like to find a way to fit you in. I will discuss this more with the other officers and see what we have available for you.

I choose the 25sp/speed increase meta over the 25sp/2% int for the reason that in many fights in toc, there are many situations to where u need to either catch something, ie: orbs in twin valks, or get away from something(anub). Having the little extra boost in speed will help in doing these sort of things. To where the 2% int would be helpful, i find myself not having any mana issues, and the extra crit from the int, is not as helpful for resto druids as it would be for other healing classes.

XOO does raid later than i normally do, but i will be able to adjust for the additional time, it will not be a problem.

I enjoy healing, but i don't mind playing cat if that is needed, I can do either.

it seems like a decent thought there... so just to verify: 18spirit > 25.9 int?

Assuming you are asking if 18 spirit is greater than 25.9 int for a resto druid, i would say so, not by a large enough factor to really matter, but if you are looking on the micro scale of things, yes. But then again, it would really depend on gear, boss encounter, raid build, a number of different factors to determine.

i think both lime's and my question were to see why you did the meta and i just wanted to clarify the spirit vs int since im not a druid. you provided a good explanation instead of something like "pvp gem was cheaper" kind of thing.

In my cat gear, plz note the shoulder and belt gems have not been switched to dps gems. I may also be switching a few pieces in and out, havent done much w/ the cat since the latest patch.

well, i know cats actually can hurt me more in pvp now (though mostly its cause they get herded by cat hearders called rogues, warriors, and dk's that stun and silence me).

as for having 2 trees already, theres nothing wrong with a forrest in the raid
