I have a good friend in China right now... and apparently they banned Facebook there and she is like yea... dying er something without it. I was looking into HTTP proxies, and I don't really trust any of the "Free" public sites. I know I can host a proxy server from my own computer, but I am unfamiliar with the proxy server market. If anyone knows of any good Servers that I can run via my computer to get her onto Facebook, or can help me in anyway, Help would very much be appreciated...

Have you ever heard of Tor? http://www.torproject.org/

If you really want to set up a proxy on your own computer though, I'll see if I can make/find a good guide for you.

Install Linux (like ubuntu) and setup your pc as an ssh server. Have him to ssh into your box and your friend setups his web browser to use socks connection.
