Hey, so im from the upcoming Tera division and as we all know there isn't any specific release date for Tera NA so far is all we know it comes out early 2011 I've had the game Aion when it first came out, and due to its poor gameplay and glitches when it first patched out, i quit at like lvl 10 and never looked back into it. I was wandering to start over (meaning complete noob. do not know anything aboutt he game) if I can join the Aion division of XoO and can get support/help..hate to solo the game not knowing anything..lol and been prety much bored out of mind having no mmorpg to play nowadays (vindictus, and so forth..has not been my type of games i ve tried out from members' recommendations) so yeh
Public general chat probably isnt the place to post this. But after the meeting yesterday I was thinking of helping out in Aion until TOR/GW2/TERA are released as well. It seems Aion is doing really good and could use additional support to help take more forts.
is it hard to start aion? for example in Lineage 2 ... its impossible. thats the word, impossible. to get back as a fresh start with no currency and lvl 85s wtfpwning left and right while it takes nearly 2 years to get to lvl8x unless youbot yourself up 8x in 2 months.. lol
As Foxy said they want folks to get to end-game faster, so made it easier to level on the lower levels. You can get ok gear easily from drops or campaigns, or even regular quests. You can get good-awesome gear starting around level 30+ from doing group instances. They really did a good job, imo, with giving options: You can solo and you can group. Rewards from solo can give you roughly 80% the quality of group rewards. It's close enough that you can swap from solo to group or go back again. (There's no setting btw, you just do it!) You can get gear through "coin" quests. There are coins (silver, platinum, etc) you can earn and then turn in to get decent gear. The coins are rewards from solo and/or group quests. You can get gear from Daily quests. Starting at level 30 you do these quests to get 'tokens'. These can be turned in for anything from equipment, to pets, to other rewards. They added pets. While there are of course the "cute" pets, there's also two useful pets: Signal & Pack. Signal pets warn you of the opposite faction nearby. Pack pets give you more on-the-go inventory room. As of September's update, they increased the drop rate on everything - including trash you can turn in for Kinah. While things have gotten easier to some degree, PvP has not really been touched. (Though at level 10 you can't experience PvP!) You still have to earn your PvP gear through effort Hope that helps - and as Foxy pointed out - choose EU or NA
wow, this helps tremendously but these are all the positive views and features the game gives however, words/rumors wise, why does the game "suck" ? what are the negative aspects
im trying to make the acct.. it wont let me lolz im stuck at the part where u input ur name and social security qq ..?
Input your name in korean and input your social (has to be valid still). Then you'll have to use a valid korean cell phone number that can recieve sms. You are the only one doing it that method so we cant really assist on that. I already sent you info on how we got our accounts. For further information contact me by PM or bring it up in the Tera division section as this area is public.
