My apologies if this has been already posted. I haven't been around much to notice. I took a quick glance and didn't see it. After the recent teasers and cryptic messages on Bungie.net, Bungie has finally revealed their new project entitled "Halo 3: Recon". http://www.gametrailers.com/player/41060.html Not much is known as of yet, and I haven't had the time to dissect the trailer for much extra info that Bungie likes to hide. However it is known that this will be a prequel to the events of Halo 3. No word yet if the player will see Master Chief, but they will take the role of a new hero, who is obviously a part of the ODST's (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, a form of...SWAT for lack of a better term). Word on the street (yet to be confirmed) is that this will be like the Halo 2 map pack; a box game that will 'install' the new content onto the console. But it begs the question that if it was just a content addition, why not make it downloadable. So the possibility of more is still there. Hopefully we'll hear more in the coming weeks. But from the looks of the 3 minute trailer, the world will have a much grittier feel to it that previous iterations of the franchise. Not to mention with the main character part of the ODST's, the game will more than likely be a much more tactical experience. With love from the outside: PhoenixDog
