    "I've never f***ed a 10, but one night a f***ed five 2s and I think that should count." -Carlin

I own all his DVDs and CDs, and I guess I'll just have to keep watching them over and over again.

There are at least seven things that should be said about this tragedy... but I think you all know exactly what they are.

This guy was beyond amazing. I always knew him as the conductor on Thomas the Tank Engine until I saw his stand-up work. The man was a fucking genius. He will be greately missed.

This is the only comedian that died, and I gave a damn. What was the last one, Richard Pryer? (Gawd, I might even be getting his name wrong) I didn't know him. But damn.

I watched 10 of his stand-ups alkmost consecutively one day, and he aged in almost all of them. He was only 71, which isn't bad, but he didn't age well.

As soon as I read the headlines..I said the 7 words..with conviction.

My most memorable moment of him..he did a standup routine..it lasted 15 minutes..he did not say one word the whole time. The audience was laughing the very first few minutes..by the end..everyone was in tears laughing so hard.

    He never said a word.
Maybe we can keep on laughing.
    He would want us too.

I'm watching his 1978 show on youtube right now, it's his best. (the one that includes 7 words).

Two of my favorite comedians are now gone, and I dont think anyone can live up to the legacies that they set.

Why does 2008 have to suck so badly. I mean just off the top of my head we have lost Gary Gygax, Arthur C. Clark, Bobby Fisher, Heath Ledger, and others.

This guy was brilliant, and I need to excuse myself while I make the only tribute I can. Go and watch his genius in action.

I'm afraid of who we might lose next. This hasn't been a good year.

"Pre-heated is a meaningless fucking term!"

If there was any public figure unafraid of death it was this dude. He prolly went out well.

Yea, I heard about it from a friend of mine who was really close to Carlin on Sunday, I cried and I still cry a little inside each day ever since this happened. He was one of my biggest heroes and role models growing up.

R.I.P George, see you in Heaven, I'll buy you a drink when I get there.

I haven't cried over the death of a celebrity this hard since Madeline Kahn died. George you are one of my heroes and will be missed. <3

I was drunk in a London bar when my wife read me the breaking news from her phone. I took my beer and pored it on the floor and she cried.
