Ok, so I'm looking for things to do at work during dead times...

    Limitations:
Can't access most at work. Typical sites are blocked. Very specific sites such as xoo aren't popular enough to be blocked though.
Installation isn't a possibilty either as I don't have administrator access.

flash games embedded into powerpoint or excel files work, but i could use some help finding some that the .swf's aren't hidden.

all blocked... hence the point of my post: sites that have flash games that can be downloaded.
i can't really check if those sites can be from work... im on my last shift tonight, so ill have 3 days to investigate, but im fairly sure they take measures to make you go to their website to play.

    bASTARDS......

the only good thing about (when) working at a tv station, they don't block anything. they however look for stuff like porn.

raycom media considers any website(except porn) as a source for news.

If it's flash you can just download the flash file and open it in any browser...you don't need the internet. If you need to find the file just open it in ie, it should be in the temp internet files. If for some reason it isn't then use a download helper add-on for firefox. You can also play full games in some cases by installing to your own computer and copying it to a flash drive. In some cases full recent games. Otherwise, anything emulator based won't need registry information so they will be portable. Anything from dosbox can be run. Some old games have their own emulators(ex: Ultima 7/SI has exult).

i guess my point is that i know what can be done, i would just like to see if people know the specific locations for files such as flash games instead of running them from these sites. for those who feel like insisting there is another method: i work in a secure room with cryptographic material at the TS level and can't have electronics of just about any kind. basically, i can get by with files via discs and really shouldn't even use a flash drive. i may see if i still have a snes emulator though... would be a good test method.
