The card is really only 1-2 FPS below a 980Ti on most games tested, but there are a couple games there where it was about 8-10fps lower. However for the price, it doesnt seem like that great an option. Considering you save $20 over a 980Ti, the winner seems to be the Nvidia card in my mind. Unfortunately AMD cant really price it lower without losing all their profit because the chip is so massive and HBM costs a lot. It is too bad really, because with this performance the card should really be $75 under the price of a 980Ti in order to be worth it.

Hmmmm and now what i'm stateside finally ALL EVGA 980TI SC ARE OUT OF STOCK AAAHHHHHHHHHHH. FFS

Going to go to Microcentre in Cambridge, MA, before visiing nearby Harvard, will see if they have anything. Any 980 TI with custom cooler would do the trick ?

I think EVGA > GIgabyte > whatever else is in the same basket (maybe Zotac comes 3rd)
