I also would love to have a key just to d/l the ps3 version of the game. I am just waiting on the info from SE.. /sigh this could take forever.
The website I linked is still giving out codes and they will work for PS3 too. The instructions for how to claim a PS3 invite are on the site. It involves turning your key into a promo code (I think after it is claimed as your one invite will work for both PC and PS3).
I think I have a beta key for this registered, but I haven't the slightest clue how to get the client.

You could log into the Japanese servers if you really wanted to. It just tells you the primary language of each server so that it's easier to tell which server to pick if you want others who speak your language. You can do dungeons with Japanese players FROM an NA/EU server if you want. The dungeon finder will group you with players from different worlds/servers.
I have been playing the BETA for some time now, I have to say I am completely addicted. Though, I cant actually tell you why I am. Maybe its the FF name, maybe its that I want it to be XI so badly. The world may never know. Anyways, the game itself is pretty fun. I haven't really payed attention to the storyline because I am waiting for release or OB to actually follow it. One thing that really intrigues me is the crafting and gathering system, I think its wonderful.
How are things going with you? How's the SEALS. BTW just so you know there is a FFXIV division. The most of us are currently on Adamantoise for closed beta but when we go Open beta we will all be on Sargatanas.
Great, SEAL teams are good, out of combat medic school soon and looking forward to FF14 ARR. Though you should remember we played a lot of this with the original game. I am not on that server for CB but I will join the linkshell with xoo on that server. Any reason why you choose that server over the more popular ones? How are things with you brother? On a side note why do they close the servers on a sunday, those tards.

If we choose a server that was heavily populated it might cause an issue where not everyone in XoO will be able to join us as they can close down character creation for those servers. However the server is not low in population but relatively high. Basically after reading the forums posting for feedback and such it was decided that it was a pretty good fit. Rest assured that the research was not half assed. Things have been good, could be better but can't complain haha. Grats on your near completion of ComMed school. Hope to see you around ARR. Does anybody know when the open beta will begin? I got into the last couple of betas and I'm hooked, so I'm a little anxious to get started again. Also, did the unofficial ARR division board close down, or just go into hiding for people not apart of the user group? I liked being able to read up on stuff on there, but I don't know if I'll be able to play with XoO at launch. I really want to, but timezones are a bitch. :/
