Game Informer did an amazing interview with Todd Howard and I thought anyone interested in Skyrim should definitely give it a listen.

About time! It's been nearly five years, I was starting to think that the elder scrolls saga had finally come to an end.

I thought the same too, and heard a rumor they weren't doing any more Elder Scrolls, working on another IP.

So pumped for Skyrim when they released that "trailer" (although it didn't do much).

Skyrim is an area in the world of TES right? What is its connection to the rest of the story? I've only played TES4, so I don't know the previous stories.

It's set a few decades after Oblivion, and yeah, it's on the north of the main continent.

Skyrim is the home of the Nord. There is quite a lot of mention of it in oblivion, particularly in the area surrounding cloud ruler temple.

I wish they'd release the old games on steam, I'd love to play Daggerfall again, and never got the chance to play Arena or Redguard.

    Beat me to it.

Skyrim is just another continent, in the north.

It's a state; it's still on the same continent.
