Is the page fake? because i'm trying to sign up but i always get this: http://en.signup.elderscrollsonline.com/404.html or does it have to do with IP block outside the US?
No issue here try http://en.signup.elderscrollsonline.com/ If not try going to the ES main site there a beta sign up button
Worked just fine for me. And I have a script blocker and adblocker running. And thanks for the heads up Twilight.
MMORPG's @TheBillMurphy talking @TESOnline with Creative Director, Paul Sage! A little over 22 minutes, talks about the beta and stuff.
At first I was worried about this game, cause its such a great single player experience. After signing up for beta (no hiccups thankfully) I'm FUCKING EXCITED. GL everyone, let's get XoO in on this one. I put XoO as my guild contact.
I'm going to watch this after I post this - but with the 3 Factions (which I think is an incredible idea for PvP [DAoC days]) I'm afraid we'll all be stuck with 1 of 3 races when we pick a faction, I know that will upset folks (myself included maybe).
Each faction is made up of 3 or so races. So if a faction is picked, there's still a bit of choice to be made.
Signed! Elder Scrolls Online worked fine from me from a reputably gaming site I frequent I think the races chosen are pretty awesome: Wood Elves, High Elves and Khajit for the dominion, Bretons, Redguards and Orcs for daggerfall and Dark Elves, Argonians and Nords for ebonheart. Speaking as someone that spent 5-6 years playing DaoC the race separation worked in more than just an aesthetic manner, it also made playing the opposite factions fresh and interesting as not only did they have their own choice of classes and visuals, but their own environments, cultures and back story. Playing as Albion, Midgard or Hibernian were huge distinctions, brilliantly executed with the appropriate level of flavour for each of the faction's undertones and ideals. Also helped to distinctly separate factions in PvP as armour and visual styles were drastically different. My vote goes to Ebonheart atm, an elven, human and interesting half/beast race. The others dont have that kind of obvious diversity.
Dark Elves, Argonians and Nords - ebonheart, we all know can now be called Midgard. I bet they will be the dominant faction, followed by Bretons, Redguards and Orcs - daggerfall - Albion.
