I did too in Upstate NY, but it wasn't anything major.. I actually thought it was the neighbor's doing laundry, because my desk was shaking again. I guess the 5's range is what California gets a regular basis lol. Still, it was a very odd experience for an East Coast gal lol. I was asleep for the last major one that happened like 5 years ago so.. http://www.grist.org/list/2011-08-23-photos-of-devastation-from-the-east-coast-earthquake Photos of the aftermath. :3
I was in a subway car when it occurred. I would've been shaking whether it happened or not, so I didn't notice a thing.
oh you silly east coast people. Choking cell networks for a little rumble. "OMG the world is moving!!1!"
was crazy i started moving back and fourth and all the laptops and tablets in my department started going crazy and a few fell down off holders ... i looked around at co workers and we all like wtf did something blow up or was that really an earthquake ... was pretty crazy too feel it not knowing what it was ... but now i do so ill stop drop and roll next time ... ohhhh wait isnt that for something else?
Not to be overly dramatic I thought my blood sugar/pressure was freaking out... i thought I was dieing until someone said they felt it too.
