I'm wanting to rip a bunch of my legitmately owned dvds so that I can watch them on my walkman. Can anyone recommend software that will convert dvds into mp4s? Also, I've been using this site to convert youtube vids into mp4s with some success - however often the files end up with no sound. Anyone have any other suggestions?
use http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ DVD Decrypter to get them off your physical dvds and onto your HD. then you'll need some software to encode it to mp4... http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/download.php seems to be decent though I haven't used it, but on their side menu is a "DVD to iPod guide" which at least could point you in the right direction if their program doesn't 100% suit your needs.
