    Who's seeing it this weekend?
All the critics that have seen previews are giving it really good reviews, A+ and 100% from different websites I saw, I'm really excited for this one.

I think its going to be far more political than people are expecting. It's a definite allusion to the Palestinian situation and South African apartheid and (if you are old enough to remember that... hell it even takes place in Johannesburg).

I'm having a really hard time figuring out which I liked more, District 9 or Inglourious Basterds.

Saw it and loved it. One of the best movies in a long time. The ending left open the possibility for a District 10. Hopefully they're working on it :)

i went to see this last week. my bro and i were all psyched up for it but as the movie went on, and even at the end, our dominant feeling towards it was "huh?" that being said it was certainly well done, and i'm glad i saw it, just wasn't what i anticipated by any stretch. certainly not your typical hollywood flick, you need to be invested in active thinking throughout the film.

It's the best movie I've seen all year long and I've seen them all. I loved it. It was a deep movie. Towards the end I hated humans even more.

Yeah, as I watched it I thought to myself... that is exactly how humanity would react. Force the issue, then bitch about the outcome, and then go about "fixing" the issue in a very inhumane way and then get pissy when there is opposition.
