I'm more than skeptical. There has been a rumor of a live-action DBZ movie since the beginning of the internet. Fake posters. Fake rosters. Fake dates. I'll believe it when i see it.

Ok, I'm not into Dragonball or any of that crap anymore, but when I was a kid I loved Dragonball Z. Goku wasn't some dumb ass gaijen, and more importantly, he was an alien, not a human. And plus, why the hell didn't they show him going Super Saiyan or anything like that?

I dunno, I'll probably go watch it for laughs lol.

EDIT: Btw, where in the fuck is Vegeta?

Vegeta isn't in it, they stuck the plot points onto sides of dice and played boggle until the producers liked it.

From what I've heard, they are making parts of Dragonball into the movie, not DBZ. Meaning no Vegeta, Super Saiyan, or anything that was added into DBZ.

It looks to me like they went with the original Dragonball story where Piccolo is trying to take over the world. So it would take place before the arrival of Raditz, where Goku is grown up. Of course it won't follow the anime 100%. (what movie does?)

Looks like a good film, can't wait. XD

It's horrible from the looks of it. Bullet Proof Monk 2.0 cept Bullet proof monk looks like it'll be the better movie.

From the trailer it almost looks like they have never even seen the source material. It could be worse. No way can they screw Dragonball up enough to be on the level of Ishtar or Battlefield Earth.

Honestly, this is about 5 years too late. I think the craze has past by a while ago... however apparently the pokemon show is still popular among kids, so who knows....

I may get together with some old friends just to laugh at it, but I doubt it.

True and untrue, R/B/Y pokemon gen was into DB original which pulls the older crowd back who are now post secondary since it's in-between DB and DBZ (sort of), and the obvious DBZ aspects will pull in the younger crowds since it was playing until about a year or 2 ago.
Good point though, the 12-16 year old crowd is into bleach/naruto now for their ridiculously dramapowered wapanese fix.

I watch that movie just for the remix scene, here it is song only.
