(Also posted this in the suggestions area, but I don't think anyone reads that lol) I just have a quick suggestion about donations. I was thinking maybe about setting up and lottery basically with steam games to be won. You can now store games in your steam inventory and gift them to who ever you wish. Maybe we can have once a month, a donation lottery where every $5.00 donated gets you an entry into the random draw for a steam game. Value of said game would be determined if there was enough interest or not, perhaps people can also donate games for the cause if they have extra copies sitting in their inventory. Just a suggestion, I'm willing to put up a copy of dungeon defenders for a trial of it, and if it's a success and we get the go-ahead to do it, I'll put up a copy of Elder Scrolls 5, Skyrim for the Jan. Draw. Let me know whatcha think.... also don't know if there's any legal mumbo jumbo that can prevent it, just thought id toss the idea on the table. I'd be willing to put any extra work that this would require, I've got an easy system for doing draws as well. I just put everyone's name on a notepad and give them sequential numbers, and use a random number generator found on google to get the number. Pretty easy, and fair if you ask me.
If people are willing to give XoO prizes for donation-exchange then we could do it when we recieve items. If this is to be a regular thing we would require more regular donations and see how much we actually get beyond what it takes to pay for server costs. Right now me and dash just use the saved up money for midget hookers and blow.
