So while I was away on a date with my girlfriend, my roommate who was using my computer at the time didn't bother to stop the dog from chewing up both my keyboard and my headset cords.

And on a side note, she never helps with the dog either, even though it IS my girlfriend and I's dog, she never walks the dog or anything like that even though I help feed and water HER cat because she's too lazy to do it herself...

    Anyways /rant

I picked this up tonight after searching NewEgg for new equip:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826193055
Rosewill Audio Pro RHM-6308 USB Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823114010
RAZER Arctosa Silver 104 Normal Keys USB Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard

So hopefully they should be here by midweek at the earliest... but anyways... I digress.

I needed new equip anyways.. just didn't want to do it this way lol

I know Rosewill is NewEgg's "brand", I think? Let me know how those turn out.

A lot of people say that, and I haven't seen the brand anywhere else so it kinda fits, but I don't think Rosewill really is Newegg's brand. Rosewill is its own company with its own facilities and is based out of China. Trust me, I had to call them once to get a price quote on 500,000 keyboards. lol

Overall I like Rosewill's quality. They definitely arent top of the food chain but for the price they seem a lot better than the other companies.

If you're trying to build a spaceship out of all that, don't. It won't work - I've tried.

Rosewill is pretty decent stuff. They're not quite fully cutting edge but certainly have always been reliable in my experience.

They are not here just yet... But they should be here maybe by tomorrow. All mail goes through Roanoke, VA; and it is in transit to there right now as of 8:30 am this morning. So either tomorrow or Thursday by the latest.

But what doesn't make sense is that I placed both items on the same order. One says ETA 9/22/11 the other says 9/21/11 but the one that is supposed to get here tomorrow hasn't even arrived or in transit to Roanoke just yet.. weird lol

Going back and looking at the shipping; it looks like one is coming from memphis the other from seacaucus nj... interesting..

Newegg has been dropping the ball like that lately, and it seems most things are in stock at the NJ location now days. Normally things take less than 24 hours to get to me, but just this last order for my motherboard I did Newegg estimated a 1 day transit time (which means the California location) and then it suddenly went to 4 days of transit time after the order was shipped out and it is coming from NJ

Wow... ok so I just got to actually type on the new keyboard and I love the ergonomics of the keyboard. They don't hurt my hands or wrists at all, and the typing on this thing is amazing, I feel like I can type almost as fast as I used to now that I have a decent enough Keyboard. Was using a cheap knockoff from walmart.

But the keyboard feels amazing, and the headphones, oh my gosh, they feel so great on my head. I love headphone that are entirely over the ear and not just sit on the sides of my ears. Great flexibility and sound quality to boot.

All in all I think I did a pretty good job with the purchases.
