Character Name, Class, and Main Spec: Lyhte, DK, Unholy Applying for position as raider (as probate) or a member/friend: Raider/member Armory Link: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sargeras&n=Lyhte 1. Talent spec(s); did you pick up something outside of normal theorycrafting or have a dual talent spec? 0/10/61 unholy is my pve spec, it's just pure dmg unholy without agro mitigation. Dual spec is pvp unholy 2. Do you have offspec sets to complement dual spec assignments or even just a trinket change for certain encounters? What stats do you have different for these sets. I use the same spec for all the encounters (unless a tank is sucking ass and I pull agro), but I have different gear sets for hp, tanking, iLevel (Flame levi), etc... 3. Professions: Do you have raid enhancing professions or gathering ones? What does your profession provide you for raid utility? (Max professions are an important boost to raiding): JC with bonus gems, Mining for cash money +500 hp lulz 4. How long have you played WoW? List your raiding accomplishments, time played, experience on other toons that may be more: Played WoW since beta. In classic I played an ignite mage and 2h war (mainly pvp), BC I played a holy paly and sometimes mage, and WotlK I've played Holy Paly and DK, mainly DK. I've cleared all content from classic to WotlK up to Yogg. 5. How much do you PvP? Is it a priority of your time playing? How will it impact raiding? I pvp mucho. It is a priority at certain times such as when we're making pushes at the end of the season or getting in 10 games for the week before points roll. Being accomplished in PvP is just as important to me as being accomplished in PvE. Getting Duelist at the end of the season when gladiator is in reach is like failing to kill Kel'Thuzad in Naxx 40 before BC is released. With that said, if the guild needs me, and I've already gotten my 10 games for the week then I'm willing to step into a raid. The only exceptions might be like the last couple of days before a season ends. 6. How old are you? Maturity and dedication are of utmost importance. 18 is required with limited exceptions. I'm 20, I can be serious when we wipe and a fucking schoolgirl when we down new bosses. 7. Where do you live (state/country) and what is the living arrangement (wife, children, dorm, etc)? I'm a junior at Northwestern University in Illinois, so it's a dorm with a great internet connection. I won't really be bothered by my suitemates as they understand 7-11 is my personal faggotry time. I'm currently at home for the summer interning downtown in Houston. The connection is not as a good as the one at school but it'll suffice. 8. Current occupation (outside of WoW)? What kind of hours do you put in? Normally, student. Over the summer, intern/analyst. Hours are 9-5 9. What guild and/or server are you coming from and why? What do you expect Xen of Onslaught to provide better? (Make sure to include your old guild or we could confuse it with a guild you have joined). Coming from Is a boss which is just a pvp guild with a bunch of friends. Helped out in Power Rangers for a while (Kologarn--->Yogg). Left because raid leader demanded that I not split my attention between arena and pve. 10. How did you hear about Xen? List any personal references within the guild and expect them to asked about your raiding ability or confirmation of for friend rank. Known about Xoo for some time now, always heard that they were a bunch of elitist dbags but then my bud limegreen joined. Said ya'll were chill and laid back (I was kinda hoping for elitist dbag but w/e). He'd vouch for me I suppose. 11. <Xen of Onslaught> strives to maintain a top end raid progression. What and how many consumables do you plan to have in preparation for each raid? Specific amounts and types preferred. Choo choo trains, Savory delights x20, candy, sleeping bags, Nick Lachey cd's and x5 endless rage flasks + fish fizzles. 12. Our raid schedule can include Monday-Thursday from 7:00-11:00 PM CST (Sargeras Server time) with the occasional Sunday raid for progression (and sometimes skipping Tuesdays for farmed content or patch days). What would be your most likely scheduling conflict if any? Depending on traffic I might be late but I'll always be on sooner or later. I can text limegreen ahead of time to notify raid leader accordingly. 13. Please list any thoughts or concerns you have on the Raid Policy as upon completing this application you will be assumed to understand and agree with them unless stated here. We are always open to considering new ways of doing things. I like turtles. 14. Submit a wws or screenshot of a damage/healing meter (a 2nd shot of your personal breakdown of attacks is also helpful as it shows your rotation) for dps, tps, and hps. We keep wws reports for 1 month and will use them as a last resort to determine how to help people improve. If one is not available, explain why. I used to have some bomb ass patchwerk 6k + dps ones saved up pre-3.1 but they're gone somewhere in internet heaven now. But I can say you won't be disappointed in my dps (I'm kinda overly competitive). 15. Provide a picture of your UI, preferably in Raid combat(at least in a 10-man) and a list addons that you use, so we know you can see those big colored rings of death appearing below your feet. I use the standard UI, nothing obstructs my vision, I will not die to gay shit. 16. You are done unless you have any final comments to help out your application. I was President of the National Honor Society in High School.
well, kelad apparently moved the topic to the old section that's not directly linked to anymore... fixed now and invited.
