Maybe Utherix doesn't know the difference between Jamie Foxx/Mace Windu and Denzel Washington?? They all look the same, right? :S
I did in fact get Jamie and Denzel confused. I have not seen many of either of their movies. On their IMDb "Known For" list, I have seen none. I had recently saw that video and when I attributed Denzel to Jamie, my roommate agreed that that was his name, not wanting to sound dumb, lol. Folie a deux.
Oscar screener got leaked. So did most every other movie that hit theaters in time for the Oscar nominations lol.
Oh, so that's going on and why a bunch of in-theater movies are online? What do you mean the screener got leaked?
Screeners are DVD quality versions given out to in this case the nomination committee members for the Oscars but the studios also used to give them out to critics before the bittorrent scene got so big and they started making critics go to special theater screenings instead. It's a leak because the general public isn't supposed to get a hold of them.
And it happens every year when the Oscar's are coming up. You would think by now the movie studios would realize it is obviously someone who has been on the committee the past 5 years. I did really like Django though
!!! Man on Fire??? Training Day??? American Gangster??? You live under a rock with no internet? Man on Fire is my favourite Denzel Washington movie, followed very closely by Training Day. The man makes amazing movies. Nobody remembers the folly that was Book of Eli :/ or it never happened. Inside man and The Bone collecter are some other good ones. Crimson Tide?
I may have seen Man on Fire. I would have been 13 years old. I saw book of Eli, but it was boring, I hardly remember it.
Denzel washington movies are really boring. The only one I really liked was Fallen but that was mainly because he was carried by everyone else. On topic. Django Unchained is fucking great. EDIT: I forgot about Virtuosity! That was a good one too. But probably because of russel crowe.
Django Unchained was the most self-indulgent piece of crap I have ever seen. It is the exact same thing as all of Quentin Tarantino's other movies: Let's put people in an ordinary situation, torture the fuck out of them and make them take the most convoluted path to resolving the issue. :|
